It seems like just yesterday that THE VOICE wrapped it season, but that doesn’t mean the coaches are getting much of a breather. Production has started on the next season, which will feature the return of coaches Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green. theTVaddict.com got some exclusive scoop from THE VOICE team on how it feels to be reunited again.
How does it feel to be back, does it feel like you’ve never left or does anything seem different??
CHRISTINA AGUILERA: It’s kind of a little bit of both, I think. I think we all have different reasons for either needing a season off or sticking around. I’m glad these guys were down to hold the original roots of the show together and, man, these guys under working straight. But being back, it’s like being yeah. It’s being reconnected with old family. I mean, I literally one of the things I was really looking forward to coming back to was just to have fun with these guys and laugh, because just hearing their laughter, sometimes, even if I don’t even know what the hell you’re laughing at, makes me crack up. So we literally I mean, I think we have a totally different show for a different network that goes on behind the seasons, but
CARSON DALY: It’s raunchy.
CEELO GREEN: It’s different.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA: Just…
CARSON DALY: There’s about enough Broll to blackmail us for life, probably.
CEELO GREEN: What she said. No. No. No. Actually, it’s very a very easy transition to, you know, coming back into the show. It took a little bit of adjusting to get acclimated in the last couple days, but it’s working out just fine, and it’s a very pleasant place to be and group of people to be around. A lot of positive energy, a lot of good vibrations, and I missed everyone. So, yes, I’m happy to be here.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA: To the point, actually, I was just thinking this. I don’t know if I could even come back to this show if it wasn’t for these two all these guys. This crew is I don’t know, like brothers, especially this one I’m sitting next to (referring to Blake).
ADAM LEVINE: I don’t know how you guys feel, but I feel like this is the best season so far, even though it’s been brief, and also, I think this is the best we’ve ever been, all four of us together. I’m really happy.
