CONTINUUM Scoop: Victor Webster Talks Season 3 and Infinite Timelines
The Canadian sci-fi drama CONTINUUM pulls no punches when it comes to playing around with time-travel, time-loops, and the paradox of the space-time continuum. It began its series traveling 65 years in the past, putting its hero Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) smack in the middle of present day as she desperately sought to track down the Liber8 terrorists before they could damage everyone’s future.
Yet the Season 2 finale threw a wrench into the storyline when Alec Sadler (Eric Knudsen) stole Kiera’s chance at getting back to her time in an effort to go back to rescue his girlfriend who had just been killed.
So Season 3 of CONTINUUM returns with a vengeance as Alec and Kiera race to find a way to save their futures and not damage the present or future timelines in the process.
In a recent exclusive interview, star Victor Webster shared his insight as to what Season 3 holds in store for his character, Carlos Fonnegra, and the tug-of-war over the future between Kiera and Alec. [Read more…]

DA VINCI’S DEMONS Preview: Season 2 Offers a Rip-Roaring Adventure From Florence to the Amazon
In Season 2 of DA VINCI’S DEMONS, Leonardo Da Vinci’s (Tom Riley) quest for the Book of Leaves takes him from the hallowed halls of Florence to deep within in the Amazonian forest. Out of his comfort zone, Da Vinci really must rely on his wits and unexpected allies as his journey leads him to a land that is as unconquered as it is mysterious.
In Italy, in Season 1, Leonardo merely had to navigate the thorny politics and personal vendettas of the Roman Catholic Church and the Medicis. But his eternal quest to hunt down the elusive Book of Leaves and gain access to a fount of information that man should never have in his possession, shall in Season 2 take Leonardo half-way across the world and introduces him to the wilds of the untamed jungles of Peru, where native tribes will fight to the death to protect their gods and their treasures. In a race against Count Riaro (Black Ritson), who also wants to lay claim to the Book of Leaves, Leonardo may find himself entangled with Riario as both friend and foe as they both are intruders in the protected world of the Incas.
Then back in Florence, life for the Medicis is tenuous at best. Lorenzo de Medici (Eliot Cowan) is initially at death’s door and then later arrested for murder, leaving his family’s good name in tatters and his family forced into hiding. Similarly, Clarice Orsini (Lara Pulver), Lorenzo’s wife, is in a precarious position with her family at risk and Lorenzo unable to rise to her defense. But Clarice is a resourceful woman who will do anything to protect those she loves, no matter what the cost. Her children and family are her life and with one last stronghold to retreat, she will entrench and fight back with surprising ferocity. [Read more…]
SCANDAL! THE WALKING DEAD! THE COMEBACK! GENERAL HOSPITAL! TEEN WOLF! The TV Addict Week in Rewind
Best Breakdown: Cyrus losing it while informing the White House press corp that James’ killer supposedly had been caught reduced a whole lotta SCANDAL fans to tearful puddles.
Most Predictable: Bickering sisters forced to work together. Fat kid who rises to the challenge. Meek dude who’s actually a mastermind. CRISIS has as many clichés as it does castmembers.
Why Are Fingers Are Crossed So Tight They Hurt: In the wake of a Slate article suggesting HBO should consider bringing back the one-season wonder that was 2005’s THE COMEBACK, buzz has it that the net is considering doing exactly that! To paraphrase Lisa Kudrow’s Valerie Cherish, “Note to self: I do want to see that!”
Best Rule Breaker: You can’t kill children on television… unless you’re THE WALKING DEAD, which offed two adorable tots in one episode!
Better Than Nothing: It looks as if USA’s WHITE COLLAR will return, but only for six episodes. Hey, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth!
Least Likely To Succeed: After airing only one poorly-received episode, A&E pulled the pug on BREAKING BOSTON, a show about… eh, what does it really matter? [Read more…]
