ORPHAN BLACK Redux: Sarah Got A Gun, Felix Got Chapped, and Kira Got Her Picture Taken!
Season 2 of ORPHAN BLACK was off to a rip-roaring start as Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) frantically searched for her missing daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler) – unfortunately, with both the Neolutionists and the Prolethians closing in. So it was a race against the clock for Sarah to get a gun and take down her sister pro-clone Rachel at the Dyad Institute in order to rescue Kira.
It took was some fancy clone shenanigans to get Sarah into Dyad; namely Alison had to procure a gun and get it to Sarah without the nosy cops and their monitors from finding out. Then Sarah infiltrated Dyad posing as Cosima into order to slip past Dr. Leekie (Matt Frewer) and security; and, fortunately, Rachel’s insistence on having Paul (Dylan Bruce) nearby also worked to Sarah’s advantage once things got a bit dicey.
But the terrifying surprise of it all was Rachel never had Kira; someone else had taken her. So all of Sarah’s efforts and planning to confront Rachel were for nothing. The moment Sarah realized that she did not know who had her daughter or where to begin searching for Kira was when we saw her strength disintegrate inside her. It was the helplessness that any parent would feel not knowing where their child was – and that moment of truth was devastating. [Read more…]
Friday Funny: Behind-the-Scenes of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
THE MENTALIST! GAME OF THRONES! GENERAL HOSPITAL! GREY’S ANATOMY! SALEM! The TV Addict Week in Rewind
Smartest Move: Rather than wait until it’s too late, the producers of THE MENTALIST are seeking a new home just in case CBS opts not to give it a sixth season.
Best Fake-Out: DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Sami found out that fiancé EJ had slept with and impregnated another woman, then accidentally caused that woman to take a dangerous tumble… except it was all simply a waking nightmare for the hunk whose secret was about to be exposed.
Worst Investment: Despite having advertised BLACK BOX what seemed like every five minutes, the debut of the ABC series only managed to draw 6.6 million viewers.
Biggest Game Changer: By jumping forward in time and giving Leslie a new job, PARKS AND RECREATION set itself up for… well, absolutely anything!
Funniest Entrance: As guest judge Wolfgang Puck entered HELL’S KITCHEN to judge the cheftestants’ pizzas, the music cue was a heavenly choir singing his name.
Scariest Concept: It looks like Jason Voorhees of FRIDAY THE 13TH fame is getting a series centered on his family and the town around Crystal Lake. Sounds like a bloody good time to us. [Read more…]

We knew it was too good to be true – the one and only friend Damon (Ian Somerhalder) had left, Enzo (Michael Malarkey), died. But as we quickly saw, the bonds of death will not hold Enzo for long. He is already making plans to return from the Otherside and will be tapping on his frenemy Damon’s shoulder in order to make his great escape. But just how angry will Damon be with Stefan (Paul Wesley), Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) for failing to let him know that Enzo is dead? Well, that will soon be found out in next week’s episode.
In the meantime, during a recent press conference, star Ian Somerhalder and executive producer Caroline Dries talked about the ramifications of Enzo’s death, his ongoing vendetta, what the disintegration of the Otherside means for our heroes both in our world and in the supernatural beyond.
