This just in, new episode photos and previews from the Tuesday December 2nd episode of THE FLASH. Direct from The CW, “PART ONE OF THE EPIC CROSSOVER EVENT WITH THE FLASH AND ARROW — Barry (Grant Gustin) is thrilled when Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell), Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he’d like to help him stop Ray Bivolo (guest star Paul Anthony), the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn’t go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone. However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) is furious when Eddie (Rick Cosnett) tries to get a task force to stop The Flash, Joe and Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) agree the Arrow is a bad influence on Barry, and Caitlin and Cisco deal with a new team in S.T.A.R. Review: NEW GIRL Has Become a Show About Nothing
In its fourth season, “New Girl” has become a show about nothing. And believe it or not, that’s something very few comedies have successfully pulled off in a post-“Seinfeld” world. “Happy Endings” succeeded, but only after a season of trying to contrive a plot based on how friendships are altered by two friends breaking up. “Cougar Town,” too, quickly became a critical favorite when it dumped its initial conceit and blossomed into a show about forty-somethings stuck in a wine-induced arrested development. Funny Business: Hulu Greenlights Amy Poehler, Julie Klausner, Billy Eichner Comedy DIFFICULT PEOPLE
Press Release: Hulu today announced a straight-to-series pick-up of Difficult People from executive producers Amy Poehler (Parks & Recreation) and Dave Becky (Louie). The half-hour comedy series marks the first collaboration between Hulu and Universal Cable Productions and is set to start production early next year.
Difficult People hails from Julie Klausner (Billy on the Street) who stars alongside Emmy®-nominated Billy on the Street host Billy Eichner. As best friends living in New York City, their typical, irreverent behavior lands them in some very awkward situations. Klausner wrote the pilot and will also serve as an executive producer for the series.
In addition to the 7th (and final) season of Parks and Recreation, Poehler and recently announced new partner Brooke Posch’s Paper Kite Productions produces the hit shows Broad City on Comedy Central and NBC’s Welcome to Sweden.
“I tend to enjoy funny people creating and starring in comedy programs, and Julie and Billy are the funniest around,” said Poehler. [Read more…]
THE ORIGINALS Recap: “Chasing the Devil’s Tail”
While this week’s episode of THE ORIGINALS was a down tick from last week but that’s to be expected since last week was the best of the season so far. This doesn’t mean that this episode was bad by any means; I enjoyed the hour. Plus there were multiple Mikaelson brother bonding moments which make any episode 100 times better. Let’s dig in!
The episode opens with Klaus and Hayley looking over Elijah as he’s sleeping. Klaus knows that Esther has done something to Elijah and that he’s probably suffering so Klaus wants to wake him immediately. Hayley notices something on Elijah’s neck and Klaus recognizes it as something Esther use to do to them when they were children. He needs a flower to wake Elijah up so Klaus heads to the woods. But before he leaves, he makes Hayley promise to not go after Esther. Hayley promises but says that she will go after everyone Esther loves. [Read more…]
