Liz Debuts New Look In THE BLACKLIST Season 3 Trailer
THE BLACKLIST Season 3 is getting a makeover, or at least Elizabeth Keen is.
Picking up right after the events of the season 2 finale, Liz (Megan Boone) and Red (James Spader) are on the run and on the FBI’s Most Wanted list, hence Liz’s new ‘do, which garnered an almost sensual reaction from Red, which delighted me more than words can say. “What we hit on in the story is that by virtue of her [Liz] being on the run and having to change her look, she ends up realizing that she may look like her mother,” executive producer Jon Bokenkamp says.
Further complicating things is the fact that her old partner, Don Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) is extremely determined to bring her to justice. Despite this, he’ll find himself on questionably moral ground when he later aids her. “Liz turn to a very unlikely place in her bid to escape, which enrages Ressler, who is very gung-ho about catching his former partner and will go to great lengths to do so, even if it means putting others in danger,” reports Entertainment Weekly.
Also on the hunt for Liz is new villain Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi), who’ll be acting on behalf of the Cabal. He’ll make his first appearance in the premiere and go on to be a recurring character throughout the season. He’s been described as a “monster in gentleman’s clothing,” because underneath his quiet and unassuming facade lies a very violent nature. You can view the season 3 trailer here.
THE BLACKLIST premieres Oct. 1st at 9PM on NBC.
CBS’ LIMITLESS Reunites DEXTER Co-Stars Jennifer Carpenter And Desmond Harrington
Jennifer Carpenter and her former Dexter co-star Desmond Harrington will be reunited on her new CBS drama LIMITLESS – and they’ll be wading in very familiar waters.
A continuation of the 2011 film starring Bradley Cooper, the series follows a man named Brian Finch (Jake McDorman), who discovers the brain-boosting power of the drug NZT and is coerced by the FBI into using his abilities to solve complex cases for them alongside Special Agent Rebecca Harris (Carpenter). Harrington will play Casey Rooks, a Special Agent with FBI SWAT who has a background in martial arts, combat sports, and meditation.
While he’s assigned to give Brian basic training, he will keep a close eye on him in order to uncover his secret. But Casey has a secret of his own: his ongoing affair with Brian’s boss, Agent Harris. Harrington, who also played Carpenter’s love interest Det. Quinn on Dexter, will appear in one episode, with the potential to recur.
LIMITLESS premieres Sept. 22 at 10PM on CBS.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Could Get Two Seasons In 2016!
AMERICAN HORROR STORY creator Ryan Murphy and his team of writers are considering doing two seasons of the series moving forward, Entertainment Weekly has learned. “Next year we might do a fall American Horror Story and a spring,” says Murphy. “We have to decide.”
He adds:
“We’re doing something that we’ve never done before on the show where we’re doing two different groups of writers rooms. Some of our writers will be bouncing around but a whole different group coming in late August. The next thing we’re crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark.”
Murphy also encourages fans not to lose hope about fan favorite Jessica Lange returning to American Horror Story because she’ll return one day. “I’ve been talking to her. It’s always possible. She’ll be back — she’s not gone forever. She wants to come back; we just have to come up with something.”
New plot details about AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL reveal that Lady Gaga’s character, The Countess, and her lover Donovan (Matt Bomer) are afflicted with an “ancient blood virus” which causes them to drink blood, although Murphy does not like to use the term “vampire.” Finn Wittrock’s character, who’s also a lover of The Countess, will be “newly turned.”
A blood virus won’t be the freakiest thing this season, however. Wes Bentley’s character, John, is playing a detective who moves into the hotel while investigating the Ten Commandments Killer, a murderer, “who arranges victims according to the biblical dictates.” Plus, there’s an even scarier villain named The Addiction Demon, the faceless man shown in one of the teasers. Murphy notes he’ll be “a creature in the same vein of Rubberman or Bloodyface” who will wield a “conical drillbit dildo.”

SONS OF ANARCHY Spin-Off Being Developed At FX
After years of hinting that SONS OF ANARCHY might get a spin-off, Entertainment Weekly has learned that series creator Kurt Sutter is now developing a new show centered around the Northern California motorcycle club scene. Details are lacking other than the show’s storyline: The project will focus on the Mayans – the Oakland-based Hispanic gang led by Marcus Alvarez, who had a precarious relationship with SAMCRO during their seven seasons.
Sutter had teased the idea of doing a Sons prequel as recently as last month at San Diego Comic Con, possibly as a mini-series. FX has not officially confirmed whether or not the series will be a prequel or not. Sutter will executive produce the as-yet-untitled series, and is currently seeking a showrunner to handle the Mayans’ day-to-day management. For now however, he will remain focused on his upcoming medieval drama, THE BASTARD EXECUTIONER, which premieres Sept. 15 and stars Stephen Moyer, Katey Sagal, Lee Jones, and Ed Sheeran.
