Eli has been doing his best to get Ruth fired on THE GOOD WIFE since she took over his job. He’s tried to use Alicia, as well as Jackie and Grace, to stir up trouble, but thus far Ruth has proven herself resilient.
In the next episode, Eli overhears Peter angrily blaming Ruth for the bad press that he’s getting. Convinced that she’s moments away from being fired, Eli can’t help but try and join the conversation. But Ruth has yet another ace up her sleeve — Peter may be getting bad press, but the voters love him. He’s currently in second place and climbing. So, desperate to get a win over her, Eli stirs up some more Florrick family drama.
Meanwhile, Jason decides to use aggressive investigative tactics when he helps Alicia and Lucca with a student loan case. And over at Lockhart, Agos & Lee, Howard Lyman alleges ageism and accuses Cary of being the primary offender.
