Fox has just taken the axe to three of its new comedy series: THE GRINDER, GRANDFATHERED and BORDERTOWN.
THE GRINDER, starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage was hailed by critics, but it’s DVR average was 1.2 rating in the key demo and 3.4 million viewers.
Meanwhile, GRANDFATHERED, starring John Stamos, was doing slightly better, averaging 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 and an audience of 4 million with live-plus-seven day viewing, but it was still on the chopping block.
Finally, BORDERTOWN, from Seth MacFarlane, was averaging 0.9 rating among adults 18-49.
