NCIS: NEW ORLEANS Season Finale: Brody Tries To Stop A Bombing

Last week, the man that mothers warn their daughters about…the one that is too good to be true…reappeared in Meredith Brody’s life on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS.

Homeland Security Agent John Russo (guest star Ivan Sergei) who was part of the investigation when Brody tracked evidence in the death of an Army general back to Washington D.C., suddenly was setting up shop in New Orleans.

When NCIS: NEW ORLEANS partnered with Homeland on the case of a murdered Navy diver, there were implications that indicated a link to a possible terrorist attack on The Big Easy. Russo honed in on Brody (Zoe McLellan) and tried to start the “big romance”…aka the one that your mother warned you was too good to be true.

Brody was torn. Was this guy “good” or just a little “too good?”

Well, as things often go, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is, and now Merri knows it.

Tonight, Brody finds out that Russo has been using her and turns to Sebastian (Rob Kerkovich) for assistance.

He gives her a device to clone Russo’s phone, but she has to get close enough for the signals to link, which requires her to continue the relationship charade, to ferret out the mole and expose the catastrophic security breach within NCIS and the DHS.

Brody braces herself and continues the romantic pretense to get close to Russo in an attempt to find 900 pounds of missing explosives that pose an imminent threat to New Orleans.

Sebastian, worried about Merri and angry that she has to get so close to a killer to do her job, provides her with a pen, of sorts. When she reminds him that she is armed, he tells her that the pen is not for writing…it is a 200,000-volt stun gun.

Sometimes, the “white knight” rides in on a motorcycle, is a little quirky, and looks like Prince Charming on the inside.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS also stars Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Shalita Grant, Daryl ‘Chill’ Mitchell and CCH Pounder.

Guest stars on tonight’s season finale, “Sleeping With The Enemy,” are Toni Trucks, Cooper Thornton, Stephanie Erb, Jared Day, Douglas M. Griffin, Tony Winters and Mark Ashworth.

“Sleeping With The Enemy” was written by series Executive Producer, Christopher Silber, and directed by series Executive Producer, James Hayman.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs tonight at 9:00 p.m. on CBS in the U.S. and on Global TV in Canada.
