BRAINDEAD Sneak Peek: Something is Afoot in Washington, D.C.

braindead

BRAINDEAD, the new dramedy from the creators of THE GOOD WIFE, seeks to explain what’s gone wrong in Washington, D.C. lately. Their answer? Bugs are eating the brains of politicians and their staff members.

Laurel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) is from a prominent Washington family. Years ago, she left D.C. to become a documentary filmmaker. But when her brother Luke (the Democratic Senator from Maryland) calls and asks her for help, she returns to Capitol Hill. It’s not long before she realizes that the government has stopped working and everyone is acting very strange. But can Laurel and some her allies (a Republican aide, an eccentric genius and a medical student) figure out what the bugs are and how to stop them? Danny Pino, Aaron Tveit, Tony Shalhoub, Nikki M. James and Johnny Ray Gill also star.

BRAINDEAD premieres on Monday, June 13 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
