There’s a lot of movies coming to the small screen this fall, but ABC is getting into the game early with UNCLE BUCK, based on the John Hughes movie starring John Candy.
Mike Epps stars as Buck, a man who has gotten by on charm instead of skills. His brother, Will, and sister-in-law, Alexia have moved to town and need some help with their kids, so Buck steps in to the “manny” role.
Naturally, Will and Alexis are wary of Buck’s parenting skills. Their three kids usually make a point of tormenting their nannies, but Buck’s unconventional style might be just what the kids need. There’s Tia (the eldest), a teenager who feels neglected when her mother starts a new job. Meanwhile, the two youngest — Miles and Maizy — are wise beyond their years and love to test the adults in their lives.
UNCLE BUCK premieres on Tuesday, June 14 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
