Last week on BLINDSPOT we learned the name of the terror group Jane Doe had helped spawn: Sandstorm. We also learned a woman named Shepherd who leads that group is Jane’s adoptive mother and her adoptive brother is also part of the group. And we learned an attempt to infect Sandstorm with Jane as a triple agent failed, even though Jane seems equally determined to get back at Sandstorm. Yet the tattoos on Jane’s body, created by Sandstorm, remain as relevant as ever as she tries to work with her estranged FBI team to solve their mysteries and avoid the tragedies they portend.
In tonight’s episode, Jane continues to work with her distrustful team on yet another clue, as the team tries to track down a DEA agent intent on selling stinger missiles to a drug cartel. Special Agent Weller must fight to keep everyone working on the same side to stop the sale, with new co-leader Nas – a national security agent whom we met last week – uncomfortably at his side.
