Audiences know Bryan Mills as Liam Neeson in the film series TAKEN, which first premiered in 2008 and spawned two sequels. Now TV viewers will see the character’s origin story in the new NBC drama of the same name.
Clive Standen takes over from Neeson as former Green Beret Bryan Mills. During an otherwise ordinary train ride, Mills loses a loved one but gains the attention of some high-profile government operatives. As he fights to overcome the trauma of the incident and exact revenge, Mills begins his career as a deadly CIA operative. The show takes place 30 years before the events of the film series. The cast includes Jennifer Beals, Gaius Charles, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Michael Irby, James Landry Hébert and Jose Pablo Cantillo.
TAKEN will premiere February 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
