Things get hectic on this week’s CHICAGO MED as some of the doctors face a difficult graveyard shift, from unusual patients to tough diagnoses.
Goodwin gives Dr. Rhodes the task of treating a unique patient at the hospital. The patient’s presence quickly strikes the attention of many and the reveal of the patient and the choices Rhodes makes gets the added stress of any possible global implications a single wrong move in this patient’s care may cause.
After someone jinxed the easy night that the staff seemed to be having on the graveyard shift, Clark and Dr. Halstead find themselves dealing with three patients who come into the emergency department one after another and present with some interesting and broad symptoms for a potential drug overdose.
Elsewhere on CHICAGO MED, Dr. Reese faces her own tough shift after having to pronounce more than one patient dead. And April’s refusing to slow down after she gets called into the hospital despite Tate’s pleading to take it easy.
Watch CHICAGO MED tonight (January 19) at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
