Fans of THE DEFENDERS were treated to an appearance by Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Sigourney Weaver, Élodie Yung, Jessica Henwick, Deborah Ann Woll at San Diego Comic-Con as the cast came to introduce the superhero team-up series coming to Netflix.
In a new extended trailer, we see Weaver’s big bad explain that the war for New York is over. But four Marvel heroes — Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist — are here to prove her wrong. These four extraordinary people team up to take her down and save the city (with some bickering along the way). News also came during the panel that Marvel and Netflix would be bringing season 2 of IRON FIST to the streaming service.
THE DEFENDERS premieres August 18 on Netflix.
