Today Netflix announced that it has renewed one of its original series — MINDHUNTER — for a second season.
The show features Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, Hannah Gross and newcomer Cameron Britton, who portrays serial killer Ed Kemper on the series. MINDHUNTER is set in 1977 in the early days of criminal psychology and criminal profiling at the FBI.
Joe Penhall (THE ROAD) created the series. David Fincher (GONE GIRL, THE SOCIAL NETWORK), Joshua Donen Charlize Theron and Cean Chaffin serve as executive producers.
