A lot of shows got cancelled in May 2018, but there was a little bit of hope for TV fans. Originally BROOKLYN NINE-NINE was cancelled by Fox and got picked up by NBC and now Netflix has offically picked up LUCIFER, another Fox casualty.
The Warner Bros.-produced LUCIFER averaged a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 and nearly 5 million viewers in live-plus-seven day ratings. It wasn’t a ratings powerhouse, but the series had a very devoted fanbase. The series stars Tom Ellis as the titular character — the devil himself — who lives in Los Angeles and works with the LAPD to solve crimes.
