Waiting for new episodes suck. Especially when it comes to THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Is there any possibility that you’ve got some killer scoop to tied me over? — Francesca
The TV Addict: In keeping with your request for killer scoop, fans should brace themselves for a face-to-face with two characters who have been long gone, albeit not so much forgotten. Which is to say, Producers are currently casting for the biological parents of Jeremy Gilbert, Miranda and Grayson, for what we have a feeling will be a fairly pivotal flashback. On, and on the off chance that’s not enough to whet your appetite, the CW Network just released this very interesting description of the Thursday March 29th episode that goes a little something like so: Entitled “The Murder of One” — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) focus a new project that will bring them closer to destroying Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and they quickly bring Elena (Nina Dobrev), Caroline (Candice Accola) and Matt (Zach Roerig) in on the plan. After Klaus threatens someone close to Bonnie (Kat Graham), she has no choice but to work on the spell he needs. Meanwhile, Klaus and Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) find the perfect motivator to convince Finn (guest star Caspar Zafer) to cooperate with them, but Rebekah is more interested in her own brutal plan to take revenge on Damon. Stefan’s emotional turmoil leads him to a dangerous confrontation with Klaus and, later, to a heartbreaking moment with Elena. [Read more…]

With contracts about to expire for the original cast members of GREY’S ANATOMY, I’m curious if you’ve got any insight into how Shonda Rhimes plans on ending the season? — Becca
The TV Addict: Living up to her reputation as smarter than your average showrunner, it would appear that Shonda Rhimes has cleverly found a way to keep her options opened. To that end, an upcoming episode of GREY’S ANATOMY’s will feature many of your favorite characters doing their best to make a good first impression when perspective suitors come a calling with potential job offers. And while we don’t pretend to know whether or not any of Seattle’s finest will find a permanent interest in working at, say, a hospital so small they have to fly their liver transplants to nearby Toledo, we are somewhat concerned that one of the docs may be inclined to take a second look at a certain Big Apple situated hospital that is rumored to have some of the best surgeons in the world knocking down its doors to get in.

I had no idea Tuesday night was the season finale of PARENTHOOD, is it coming back next year? — Christine
The TV Addict: It would be if I we here at had anything to say about it. Unfortunately — as evidence by the fact that PARENTHOOD’s fantastic third season was cut down to 18 episodes and ARE YOU THERE, CHELSEA? actually made it to air — we have very little sway when it comes to the Peacock Network’s programming priorities. That said, we would be absolutely flabbergasted if NBC didn’t renew one of their few critically beloved hour longs, if for no other reason than amidst the Network’s myriad of problems, PARENTHOOD is perhaps the least of them. Any ARROW intel? — Mikey
The TV Addict: SMALLVILLE fans who are still in mourning over their dearly departed Superman series will be pleased to discover that ARROW isn’t wasting anytime when it comes to bringing familiar faces back into the fold. Less pleased, will be actress Keri Lynn Pratt, who it appears will have to re-audition for the role of Cat Grant that producers have re-imagined as a sexy TMZ-style reporter who appears in the ARROW pilot to cover the unexpected reappearance of Oliver Queen.

Is George and Lemon really going to go through with their wedding on HART OF DIXIE? — Lisa
The TV Addict: Not if Mother Nature has anything to say about it (Evidently, Mother Nature is a supporter of Team Zoe!) According to our sources, a storm of biblical proportions is scheduled to touch down in BlueBell Alabama just in time for the season finale of HART OF DIXIE that will, as luck would have it, center around George and Lemon’s big day. [Read more…]

Your recent interview with HART OF DIXIE creator Leila Gerstein zapped this Zoe/Wade shipper of pretty much all hope for a season ending hook-up. Is there anything at all you can tell me to make me feel better? — Lisa
The TV Addict: Not really! What’s more, if you didn’t enjoy our recent one-on-one with Leila Gerstein, you’re really not going to like the one teensy little tidbit of information that we left out of the piece that alludes to the fact that mathematically speaking, one of your favorite DIXIE denizens is all but guaranteed to end the season with a broken heart. Revealed Gerstein, “Between Zoe, Lemon, Wade, George and Lavon there are an uneven number of boys and girls and someone is going to be left out in the cold. I know that.”

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I’m hoping you can give me some heartwarming news for those of us still rooting for Mark and Lexie on GREY’S ANATOMY. — Brenda
The TV Addict: Mark and Lexie fans will be happy to know that the two genetically-blessed doctors will be spending the most romantic day of the year together. Slightly less exciting is what they’ll be doing on Valentine’s day, which is babysitting for Meredith/Derek and Arizonz/Callie’s respective babies!

Any scoop on my favorite new series ONCE UPON A TIME? — Rich
The TV Addict: Do you happen to know an 11 to 14 year old girl who looks eerily like a young Ginnifer Goodwin? If so, get them to a talent agent STAT (!) because producers are currently on the look out for a young Snow White. (Legal Mumbo Jumbo: By accepting this bit of casting scoop you may-or-may-not have inadvertently promised 10% of any and all earnings should said aforementioned 11 to 14 year old girl turn into the next Dakota/Elle Fanning!) Any scoop on Sunday’s episode of THE GOOD WIFE?
The TV Addict: Having recently had the pleasure of sneaking a peek at Sunday’s episode (And yes, we’re well aware how awesome our job can be!) we can assure you that this weekends much-anticipated return of hit CBS series is sooooooo worth the wait. And while we’re not about to spoil the outcome of Wendy Scott-Carr’s increasingly intrusive investigation into Will Gardner’s on court activities, we will alert you to the fact that sparks will fly. Also of note for fans of Archie Panjabi is a confrontation between Kalinda and Monica Raymond’s Dana that gets a little physical. Read into that what you will.

Cannot express how pleased I was to see jump on the SWITCHED AT BIRTH bandwagon earlier in the week. Gushing aside, any clues as to how serious Daphne and Wilke are going to get?
The TV Addict: Serious enough that the sources close to the production have let it slip that Producers are currently on the lookout for an actor to play Wilke’s dad! That’s the good news. With the bad news beings that whomever snags the part of Wilke’s dad may very soon be on the receiving end of a very upsetting phone call. Gulp! [Read more…]

Thanks to your recent post pointing to a free download of the series premiere, I’m officially hooked on SMASH. Which begs the question as to whether or not you have any scoop as to which actress the producers are going to reward with the coveted title role in Marilyn the musical? — Amanda
The TV Addict: Despite the fact that this by no means indicates whose name — be it Megan Hilty’s Ivy or Katharine McPhee’s Karen — will actually appear on the marquee when the Broadway musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe actually does premiere, we can assure you that the answer to your question will be known by SMASH’s second fantastic episode of the season.

Any scoop on the best show nobody’s watching, you know, PARENTHOOD? — Dave
The TV Addict: This just in, there is a downside to success. Especially when the much-deserved notoriety Adam and Crosby are earning for restoring the luncheonette into a state-of-the-art recording studio brings with it a life-changing offer that the twosome may-or-may-not be able to refuse.

As much as I’m enjoying Booth and Brennan’s storyline this season with regards to their about-to-be-born baby on BONES, I can’t help but feel that the producers have done a really poor job of dealing with Parker. Are there any plans to address how Booth’s oldest son is dealing with the new addition to the family?
The TV Addict: In short: Yes! Or to be more specific, when Booth and Brennan aren’t busy solving yet another gruesome murder in BONES upcoming tenth episode of the season, they will be busy debating how to deal with Parker, who begins to act out to the tune of lying and possibly stealing in response to their newest bundle of joy. After reading your fantastic live blog from yesterday’s “Bad-Ass Boys of the CW” TCA panel I have to ask, how exactly does one get your job? — Rachel
The TV Addict: Simple. Step #1: Build a time machine. Step #2: Program said aforementioned time machine so that you may devote your formative years transfixed by the original BEVERLY HILLS 90210. Step #3: Spend what some might characterize as an “unhealthy” amount of time watching television. Got that? And since you brought up what was hands down the highlight of our week spent at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena California, we thought we’d expand upon one of the most heartwarming moments from yesterday’s panel. Cue SUPERNATURAL star Jared Padalecki’s thoughts on impending fatherhood, “I’m very excited. I hope it doesn’t bleed over into my work because I have a boyish excitement about it. I’m almost worried about how excited I am. I feel like I should be nervous because I’m bringing a life that I’m going to be half responsible for sometime in March. But I’m just so kind of chomping at the bits to get my hands in there and raise a child that I ?? right now I’m just like an excited little boy.”

BONES scoop please. — Felicia
The TV Addict: Cutting to the chase (Trust me, that will be hilarious in a moment), the ninth episode of the season entitled “The Don’t in the Do” will revolve around a gruesome death in a hair salon.

This RAISING HOPE fan would like to know if you have any scoop on when Jimmy and Sabrina might… well, you know? — Brenda
The TV Addict: According to creator/executive producer Greg Garcia Jimmy and Sabrina shippers should stay tuned. “We’re going to go at that a little head on in the upcoming months and we’ll see what happens out of that,” teased Garcia. “There will be some movement I can promise you that.” Sticking with RAISING HOPE for a moment, Garcia also promised the season finale, while not exactly game-changing in nature, will send shockwaves throughout the Chance household. “There’s going to be some revelations about Hope’s serial killer mom that is going to have ramifications for everyone.” [Read more…]

Dying for some NIKITA intel after the recent doozy of a midseason finale. Any clues as to what happens next? — Dakota
The TV Addict: While we don’t pretend to have any viable intel on the mother of all twists that went down in the most recent episode, we can report that all signs are pointing to Nikita doing a little soul searching in the New Year. And by soul searching, we of course mean confronting the sole woman who may-or-may-not be able to shed some light on Nikita’s long-awaited “origin story!” An origin story which in typical NIKITA fashion will come complete with flashbacks to an underground rehab clinic, murder, Mexico, plenty of gunplay, and some guy named Percy.

Now that BONES is back in production, care to share the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby? — Jane
The TV Addict: As much as we would absolutely love to reveal the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby. our love of staying on creator Hart Hanson’s good side wins the day yet again. Thus, in lieu of any actual information we hope you’ll forgive us for this highly ambiguous tease: Lifelong loyal BONES fan should already know the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby. And yes, now would be your cue to guess away in the comments below. [Read more…]

Ask the Addict: Spoilers for DEXTER, BONES, PERSON OF INTEREST, HART OF DIXIE & More!

Is there any chance at all that Sunday’s DEXTER makes up for last week’s snore of an episode? — Dillon
The TV Addict:If by “make up for,” you mean offer one of the most unexpected and uncomfortable plot twists in the series’ sordid history, than well yes, Sunday’s penultimate episode of the season is not to be missed. That said, having still not shaken of the after-affects of one of the most spine-tingling and stupefying scenes DEXTER has ever dared to deliver, we do feel it necessary to warn viewers that on a scale of “icky” to “grossest thing you can ever imagine,” Sunday’s episode is off the charts!

Any clues as to when Brennan will be delivering her baby on BONES? — Amy
The TV Addict:While we’re not 100% sure of this, all signs are pointing to Brennan delivering her baby when BONES returns from its post-January hiatus. What’s more, in typical BONES fashion, Brennan’s delivery won’t be nearly as smooth as one might have hoped. Which is to say, despite Booth wanting his baby born in a Catholic hospital and Brennan wanting a home birth in which she can maintain as much control over her environment as possible, the sill-nameless unexpected bundle of joy has other ideas. So excited for tonight’s return of BONES. Even more excited for what’s rumored to be an Emmy-worthy episode for David Boreanaz. Anything you care to tease? — Nancy
The TV Addict: As much as I’d love to be able to tease the heartbreaking circumstances that come crashing down on Booth in tonight’s episode that afford David Boreanaz an opportunity to deliver one of his most emotionally impactful performances to date, we’re afraid that to do so would pretty much spoil the episode’s most shocking moment. Cue obligatory ambiguous tease that goes a little something like so: This time, it’s personal.

With all the buzz surrounding Booth, I’m curious if there is anything for us Brennan fans in tonight’s episode of BONES? — Jenn
The TV Addict: Oddly enough, tonight’s episode does an excellent job of highlighting a handful of positives as a result of Brennan’s decreased workload due to Emily Deschanel’s real-life pregnancy. One of which has to do with a hilarious anatomy lesson that Brennan gives Squintern Clark, while another is the return of the always welcome Tina Majorino as Booth’s sidekick Agent Shaw.

Any HAWAII FIVE-0 Scoop? — Jake
The TV Addict: Do you happen to be the parent of a teenager who bares a striking resemblance to a young Alex O’Loughlin? If so the Producers of HAWAII FIVE-0 want to hear from you! Okay, they don’t really want to hear from you, that said, sources have confirmed that they are searching for a young man to play a 16-year old version of McGarrett for a pivotal upcoming episode that will shed some very welcome light on McGarrett’s relationship with his super secretive father.
