It’s been a while since you’ve answered any CASTLE related questions. Care to rectify this little oversight? — Alec
The TV Addict: Ask and ye shall receive. Specifically, scoop on an upcoming episode that has CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe cleverly jumping on the fairytale bandwagon. Hilariously titled, “Once Upon a Crime,” the February 27th episode will see Castle and Beckett on a “grimm” (See what we did there?) hunt to catch a fairytale killer when women dressed as Red Riding Hood and Snow White are discovered dead.

Your recent interview with star Jeremy Sisto got me wondering about the identity of George’s wife and Tessa’s mother. Do you think we’ll meet her by the end of SUBURGATORY’s first season? — Lisa
The TV Addict: No! That said, we do have it on very good authority that you will meet the next best thing to Tessa’s absentee mother during the SUBURGATORY season finale appropriately titled “The Motherload.” That being… her absentee Grandmother!

There have been some seriously spoilerrific HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER photos floating around the interwebs teasing an upcoming episode that hints at a reconciliation between Robin and Ted. Care to shed some light on the subject? — Steph
The TV Addict: While we don’t pretend to really know whether or not Robin and Ted are going to give “coupledom” another go, we promise you that fans are not going to want to miss the February 20th episode that will see Ted rock Robin with a personal declaration as to how he feels about her. Read into that what you will.

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day I’m hoping you can provide this HART OF DIXIE fan with a little good news on the Zoe/Wade front. — Rachel
The TV Addict: Okay here’s the thing. While we don’t pretend to have any specific shipper news on the Zoe/Wade front, we can report that fans will very soon get a glimpse of the “New Wade” that was alluded to in our recent one-on-one with his portrayer Wilson Bethel. Which is to say, the character’s “entrepreneurial spirit” will soon be put to the test when Wade decides to open… wait for it… a bar of his very own in Bluebell.

Now that you’ve completely got me hooked on SMASH, I’m gonna need some scoop and pronto! How long until we find out who gets cast as Marilyn. — Michael
The TV Addict: Not long at all. Which is our not-so-subtle way of letting it slip that by the time the credits role on SMASH’s stellar second episode this coming Monday, it will be abundantly clear as to which lucky lady <strike>slept</strike> sung her way to the top.

Please tell me RAISING HOPE creator Greg Garcia has something romantic up his sleeve for Jimmy and Sabrina this Valentine’s Day? — Brad
The TV Addict: Boy does he ever! Unfortunately we are not at liberty to reveal the outcome of Jimmy’s insanely over-the-top romantic gesture. Not so much because we aren’t dying to spill the hilariously heartfelt way in which Jimmy attempts to make Sabrina jealous with the help of special guest star Ashley Tisdale, but rather because we can’t. Literally. For just as [Spoiler Alert!] was about to [Spoiler Alert!] on our screener, Fox cruelly cut us off, forcing us to tune into the Tuesday February 14th episode to find out [Spoiler Alert!]. Suffice it to say, we have a sneaking suspicion [Spoiler Alert!] will be worth the wait.

Any clues as to who Julie’s mysterious babydaddy is on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES? — Jaime
The TV Addict: Since a clue might leave you with the incorrect impression that we’ve actually been tuning into this snooze-fest of a final season, we’ll simply leave it at this: Grandmother-to-be Susan will find out on February 19th.

Not happy with the serious lack of Steve and Fiona time on this otherwise fantastic second season of SHAMELESS. Any idea when the star-crossed-lovers will to say more than a few incredibly uncomfortable words to one another? — Brenda
The TV Addict: Steve and Fiona fans will be pleased to know that this Sunday’s episode features a very timely bathroom break while the two of them are on a double date. Less pleased will be special guest star and on-again-off-again-squeeze James Wolk.

Any NIKITA intel? — Lilly
The TV Addict: If by intel you mean a first look photo from Friday’s episode that introduces us to the mentor that saved Nikita from living the life of a junkie on the streets? Well then, enjoy.

Your recent interview with HART OF DIXIE creator Leila Gerstein zapped this Zoe/Wade shipper of pretty much all hope for a season ending hook-up. Is there anything at all you can tell me to make me feel better? — Lisa
The TV Addict: Not really! What’s more, if you didn’t enjoy our recent one-on-one with Leila Gerstein, you’re really not going to like the one teensy little tidbit of information that we left out of the piece that alludes to the fact that mathematically speaking, one of your favorite DIXIE denizens is all but guaranteed to end the season with a broken heart. Revealed Gerstein, “Between Zoe, Lemon, Wade, George and Lavon there are an uneven number of boys and girls and someone is going to be left out in the cold. I know that.”

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I’m hoping you can give me some heartwarming news for those of us still rooting for Mark and Lexie on GREY’S ANATOMY. — Brenda
The TV Addict: Mark and Lexie fans will be happy to know that the two genetically-blessed doctors will be spending the most romantic day of the year together. Slightly less exciting is what they’ll be doing on Valentine’s day, which is babysitting for Meredith/Derek and Arizonz/Callie’s respective babies!

Any scoop on my favorite new series ONCE UPON A TIME? — Rich
The TV Addict: Do you happen to know an 11 to 14 year old girl who looks eerily like a young Ginnifer Goodwin? If so, get them to a talent agent STAT (!) because producers are currently on the look out for a young Snow White. (Legal Mumbo Jumbo: By accepting this bit of casting scoop you may-or-may-not have inadvertently promised theTVaddict.com 10% of any and all earnings should said aforementioned 11 to 14 year old girl turn into the next Dakota/Elle Fanning!)

Is Kristen Bell really going to reunite with her VERONICA MARS co-star Max Greenfield on NEW GIRL? — Mikey
The TV Addict: If the artist formerly known as Deputy Leo has anything to say about, damn straight! “I just think ultimately that would be really awesome,” said Greenfield during a recent one on one with the TV Addict. “I have so many people who know me from VERONICA MARS — which is unbelievable all these years later — I think it would be fun for the fans to have that little moment and it would be great for our show to have Kristen on it. She was really great to me on VERONICA MARS and it would be so awesome to have have her.” (Click here for more with Max Greenfield)

As someone who has watched far too much television over the course of my thirty-something years, I’m starting to get a really bad feeling about Julia and Joel’s impending adoption on PARENTHOOD. Care to alleviate my fears? — Michelle
The TV Addict: As much as we would love to alleviate your fears, all we can really say on the subject is that Julia and Joel will be welcoming a new face into their home prior to the end of PARENTHOOD’s fantastic third season. Emphasis on the ambiguity of said aforementioned “new face” that — much to our chagrin — in no way guarantees that we’re talking about Zoe’s baby.

Any teasers about what to expect from the next week or two of my favorite new show, DOWNTON ABBEY? — Jack
The TV Addict: Oh, Jack, trust us when we say the next few episodes are game changers in every sense of the word. Get ready to put a face to a name from the past who will shake up everyone upstairs while the downstairs crew will be rocked when a twist of fate brings good news and bad for everyone’s favorite maid and her lame-legged beau. In other news, the war ends (no spoilers as to who wins!), Thomas’ shady behavior bites him in the butt and death pays a visit to the Abbey. As for Matthew and Mary? In true soap opera style, one moment will change their destinies… possibly forever!

Having endured every single episode of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES I simply must know which Fairview resident is going to kick it prior to this May’s series finale. — Orly
The TV Addict: Since we’re by no means sure as to which of Wisteria Lane’ long suffering residents is going to end the show’s run six feet under, we’ll simply say this: Sources close to production have let it slip that one unlucky wife will very soon be in the market for a pine box of a more manly variety.

Any intel on when ALCATRAZ fans can expect to learn more about Madsen’s grandfather? — Dylan
The TV Addict: Yes! When Madsen isn’t busy hunting down Johnny McKee — a former Rock inmate notorious for chemically induced killings — more details surrounding her mysterious grandfather are expected to emerge on the February 20th episode of ALCATRAZ. Update: We stand corrected! In response to this just posted edition of “Ask the Addict,” ALCATRAZ creator Bryan Wynbrandt has kindly informed us via Twitter that it’s actually this weeks episode that will delve deeply into Rebecca’s grandfather’s past. So set your DVR/PVR accordingly!

Is there any truth to the rumor that Damon is going to cheat on Elena in an upcoming episode of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES? — Jessica
The TV Addict: Suffice it to say, truth is in the eye of the beholder. Which is to say, what Damon might or might not have done really depends on your interpretation of the following sentence parsed from the February 15th episode of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES: “Elena learns about a startling indiscretion by Damon.”

Got anything for us GLEEks? — Maddie
The TV Addict: If by “anything,” you mean a first look at Rachel Berry’s adoptive parents Hiram (Jeff Goldblum) and Leroy (Brian Stokes Mitchell) who will play a pivotal role in GLEE’s February 14th Valentine’s Day themed episode appropriately titled “Heart,” well then yes.

Dying for some NIKITA intel after the recent doozy of a midseason finale. Any clues as to what happens next? — Dakota
The TV Addict: While we don’t pretend to have any viable intel on the mother of all twists that went down in the most recent episode, we can report that all signs are pointing to Nikita doing a little soul searching in the New Year. And by soul searching, we of course mean confronting the sole woman who may-or-may-not be able to shed some light on Nikita’s long-awaited “origin story!” An origin story which in typical NIKITA fashion will come complete with flashbacks to an underground rehab clinic, murder, Mexico, plenty of gunplay, and some guy named Percy.

Now that BONES is back in production, care to share the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby? — Jane
The TV Addict: As much as we would absolutely love to reveal the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby. our love of staying on creator Hart Hanson’s good side wins the day yet again. Thus, in lieu of any actual information we hope you’ll forgive us for this highly ambiguous tease: Lifelong loyal BONES fan should already know the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby. And yes, now would be your cue to guess away in the comments below.

Any idea as to what type of relationship roadblocks are forthcoming for Sarah and Mark on PARENTHOOD? — Courtney
The TV Addict: Ideas, we’ve got plenty, unfortunately fans of Sarah (Lauren Graham) and Mark (Jason Ritter) probably aren’t going to want to hear them. Which is to say, when PARENTHOOD returns in January, so to will one of Mark’s twenty-something besties named Kirsten. And while Kirsten will by no means come between Sarah and Mark, a dinner in which Mark introduces Sarah to his group of twenty-something friends will further illuminate the gaping age difference between the two in a new and awkward way. Oh, and while we’re on the subject of relationships that fall under the “It’s Complicated” category, things are about to get a lot more so for Jasmine when Dr. Joe makes his intentions crystal clear.

Is there anything you can give me in terms of COUGAR TOWN scoop to help fill the void as a result of this seemingly never-ending hiatus? — Lisa
The TV Addict: Since ABC has yet to let the cat out of the bag with regards to a premiere date (although, if we had to speculate, there’s talk out there that it will return sooner than expected.), we’ll let the cat out of the bag on a little something that is guaranteed to put a smile on the segment of the fandom rooting for Laurie and Travis to get together. It is totally going to happen! But before it does, Laurie will first find herself in a relationship with a military man who is currently serving overseas.

Is GENERAL HOSPITAL really going to kill off Robin? — Amy
The TV Addict: Although everything at the ABC sudser is sort of up in the air right now thanks to the massive backstage changes that saw new head writer Garin Wolf demoted so that ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s former scribe, Ron Carlivati, can take over, it’s looking like the answer is probably “no.” Even before ABC confirmed that Kimberly McCullough — the popular actress who has played Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake on and off since 1985 (when she was just 7 years old!) — would be leaving, rumors were circulating that the character (who has been living with HIV since 1995) would develop AIDS and die. But this week, Robin went to her longtime friend (and former beau) Jason, asking that the Mob enforcer help her vanish after the holidays in order to spare her husband, Patrick, and their daughter, Emma, the pain of watching her illness develop. (It was also revealed that demented doc Lisa Niles replaced the medications Robin has been taking for years with placebos, thus weakening her immune system.) Speculation now is that the character will do exactly that, allowing McCullough to exit the canvas at the end of her contract and leaving the door open for her return. This week, news broke that Finola Hughes would be returning to GH early next year. Given that Hughes plays Robin’s mom, Anna (who happens to be a super spy), it seems likely that her stint will play into Robin’s exit story.

Any word on just how bad Bree is going to spiral out of control on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES? — Melanie
The TV Addict: According to sources, Bree isn’t scheduled hit rock bottom until early in 2012, when a series of embarrassing alcohol-fueled hook ups will result in an unexpected trip to the doctor’s office where she’ll be confronted with some very troubling news.

At the beginning of this season, the producers of HAPPY ENDINGS promised a boyfriend for Max, yet thus far we’ve got nothing! Is there any hope at all on the relationship front for the funniest character to hit the small screen since SEINFELD’s Kramer? — Brandon
The TV Addict: My friend, we’re sorry to report that this is yet another one of those classic good news bad news situations because as you’ll soon discover, there is a downside to Max getting a boyfriend in an upcoming episode entitled “Everybody Loves Grant.” As the episode’s title suggests, the gang’s infatuation with Grant — coupled with Brad and Jane’s penchant for taking things a little too far — has the potential to tear the HAPPY ENDINGS crew apart! Especially if the words “couples cheating” means anything to you.

I know it has been a while since GREY’S ANATOMY last aired, but I’m hoping you can alleviate my fears as to the fate of Meredith! She’s going to be okay following that horrific crash right? — Lizzy
The TV Addict: Since we’ve actually received quite a few questions over the course of the past few weeks pertaining to the fate of one Meredith Grey we hope this just released photo from the upcoming January 5th episode of GREY’S ANATOMY will alleviate your fears. Meredith Grey isn’t just doing okay, she’s doing a heck of a lot better than poor Christina, who will be forced to help Teddy with her patient in the O.R. all the while not being able to tell her about the fate of Teddy. Gulp.

As someone who has always had a special affinity for DEXTER since the very beginning (Note: Not as creepy as it sounds, we promise!) we’re disappointed to admit that when it comes to summing up our feelings for the show’s much-anticipated current season, the best we can come up with is ‘conflicted.’ On the one hand, four weeks in, the show’s writing team deserves credit for managing to keep this aging series interesting by promoting Deb to Lieutenant, correcting last season’s wrong that was Laguerta and Angel’s marriage, and introducing a truly terrifying team of baddies (Edward James Olmos’ Professor Gellar and Colin Hanks’ Travis Marshall) into the mix. On the other — something that we can’t quite put our finger on — is missing. Whether it’s a symptom of the increasingly predictable nature of the show (Does anyone else have a feeling that Professor Gellar is to Travis what Harry is to Dexter?) or the fact that the astounding success of the series has all but eviscerated the once spine-tingling stakes for America’s favorite serial killer seeing as though Showtime isn’t about to put a knife in the back of its most popular property anytime soon, the simple fact of the matter is that this once must-watch-for-fear-of-being-spoiled-show has quietly devolved into yeah, we’ll-watch-it-when-we-get-around-to-it. #sad

Dear ABC (Re: PAN AM), a multimillion-dollar per episode price tag and top notch talent both in front and behind the camera is not enough to get us to to care about a group of women whose personalities are about as inciting as airplane food. We’re sorry.

With this being DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES eighth and final season, a part of us feels really bad for having jumped off the bandwagon at the start of this year. Until that is we decided to give last night’s episode one last kick at the can. Cut to a forty-something Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) not being able to compose herself during an art class involving a nude model and us very quickly realizing that we have far better things to do with our time. Which brings us to…

In response to last night’s tweet that had us exclaiming just how in love we are with THE GOOD WIFE, a follower (@tvonmyterms) asked us to be specific. So here, in a nutshell, it goes: From a seemingly never-ending roster of ridiculously talented guest stars (Anna Camp! Dylan Baker! Lisa Edelstein!) to a level of storytelling — complete with political intrigue, back room deals and sizzling romance — that has become almost unheard of on Broadcast television, THE GOOD WIFE doesn’t just manage to keep us on the edge of our seat each and every Sunday night, it keeps us off our iPad, which in this day and age, is sadly almost unheard of.

Since it has become increasingly rare when our viewing habits intersect with that of the rest of the country, we here at theTVaddict.com just wanted to take a moment and thank the 13 million or so of you who gave last night’s series premiere of ONCE UPON A TIME a try. And while we don’t pretend to know whether or not co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have what it takes to maintain the level of story-telling demonstrated in the pilot, we sure as heck are looking forward to finding out.

Mike Delfino may be a man of few words, but his portrayer James Denton is all talk. Which was certainly good news for this TV Addict who was recently given the opportunity to chat with the affable actor about all things DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. Will Mike and Susan get their happily-ever-after? What’s the mood on the set as the show prepares to say goodbye? And what’s next for the man who has spent the better part of the past decade playing America’s favorite handyman? Find out for yourself after the jump.

Have you noticed a shift in the show’s story-lines since the announcement that this season of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES would be its last?
James Denton: I don’t believe so. I think [Creator] Marc Cherry had a pretty good feel for when the show was going to end based on the first couple of episodes that felt so much like season one in terms of dealing with the same kind of note from the pilot. At least from my perspective, before it was officially announced that we weren’t coming back, I kind of had a feeling.

Has the mood on the set changed knowing that this is in fact the final season?
It’s a little bittersweet for me primarily because I’m so close to this crew. We were on a show called THREAT MATRIX on ABC before HOUSEWIVES so I’ve been with this crew for 10 years. So for me it’s a little more than the other cast members as far as the melancholy party. The exciting part of it — because as a responsible parent I would have stayed on the show for 20 years — is that it’s good they’re making me leave because as an actor we’re not getting any younger and it will be fun to take the tool-belt off and go play someone else after eight years. But it’s really a mixed blessing because it’s good for you as an actor to get out and test the waters but I think you’re crazy if you leave the security of a show like HOUSEWIVES.

Have you given any thought to type of role you’d like to tackle next?
You know I’ve given it some thought. For me it’s funny because I actually came out here to do comedy. I was in Chicago doing a play and I got flown out by Paramount to test for a sitcom, which, oddly enough Teri Hatcher’s real-life husband at the time Jon Tenney got. So comedy brought me here but I haven’t done it very much save for a couple of guest spots. So that’s what I would lean towards, but again, I’ve got two kids I have to put through school so I’m open to just about anything!

Is there a set piece or prop that you’re planning to sneak off with at the end of the series?
Yeah, Delfino’s truck, I’m going to drive it right out of gate 3! [Laughs] I don’t know, I’d say my wardrobe but it’s already mine. You know, the woman have these wardrobe trailers, racks of clothing that are 20 or 30 yards long while the Delfino section is about 2 feet! It’s like 4 pairs of jeans, 3 t-shirts and a jacket. Most people steal their clothes, but the boots I wear on the show in every single scene are mine so I can’t even say I’d take those. So I don’t know. One thing I did save were the bracelets from when Mike was in a coma, those hospital bracelets are so perfectly made and detailed with my character’s name, social security, address and I kept them. I don’t know why, maybe someday I’ll sell them on eBay for a dollar!

And finally, would it be safe to assume that despite their ups and downs, Mike and Susan fans don’t have to worry about the status of their relationship this being the final season and all?
I always have to be careful, but since Marc Cherry has been pretty open about this subject I don’t think I’d be talking out of turn to say that Mike and Susan are pretty secure and If they broke up it would really surprise me. I think it’s much more interesting for the writers, now that they’ve got them together after all these years, to watch them deal with these crazy situations in a realistic way that couples all across the country have to face all the time. I think it’s much more likely that we’ll see them kind of battle through this mess Susan’s gotten them into together. Of course the more Mike gets involved the more problems arise over the next few episodes. It’s going to be rough for them.

Until the last minute twist that revealed who is about to be a mommy, last night’s season premiere of GOSSIP GIRL was… well, nothing much to talk about. Serena’s Hollywood job is a snore, thanks in large part to the boring folks cast to play the various cliches and stereotypes surrounding her. Chuck deciding to say “yes” to everything would be a great development… if we’d ever thought of his as someone to deny himself anything. Nate continued to flounder in storyline limbo, sleeping with yet another older woman. (Does this guy need therapy to deal with his mommy issues?) And, of course, Blair whined. About what this week? Well, let’s see. She whined about every detail regarding her royal wedding and, most ludicrously, she whined about not be allowed to attend some royals-only speech. That’s right, she’s upset about not being able to attend a speech. There was, of course, a party, as is required of every episode. I imagine that in the writer’s room, the first thing they discuss each week is what the party-of-the-week will be and how it will turn into a disaster. The only real surprise at this particular party was that the pool around which it took place did not have anyone shoved into it. Things finally perked up in the final moments with Chuck’s bruise, Blair’s secret and Serena’s run-in with the chick who pretended to be her cousin last year, so hopefully, next week’s outing will be more juicy.

I almost didn’t check out the new sitcom WHITNEY because it got some pretty awful reviews. And yet, having finally gotten around to watching, I can’t for the life of me figure out why. The cast was largely appealing and the pilot, while not the best thing ever, was a heck of a lot better than some of the new sitcoms hitting the airwaves this year. (Yes, I’m lookin’ at you HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN.) By the end of the episode, I’d rearranged my taping schedule, having decided that WHITNEY is a keeper.

I’d really hoped that going into this season knowing it would be their last, the folks at DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES would pull out all the stops. Unfortunately, the season premiere was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. And what the heck does poor Vanessa Williams have to do to get out of storyline Siberia? Once again, the ladies of Wisteria Lane were caught up in a story that brought them all together… except for poor Wilhelmina-lite, who was stuck with nothing to do but vamp it up for the new guy on the street who was, of course, introduced in the tried-and-true fashion of walking up behind people who are talking about him. Sigh. And can anyone explain why rich folks like him keep moving into the same middle-class neighborhood as barely-getting-by Mike and Susan or often-struggling Tom and Lynette? This has bothered me since back in the day when we were supposed to believe that Carlos and Gaby were way-uppermiddle class yet opted to shove all their uber-expensive tchotchkes into a house next to single-mom Susan.

Monday marked the official beginning of DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ much-ballyhooed reboot. Longtime fans had to have been thrilled to see formerly-exiled faves John and Marlena return, and the whole episode was like a tribute to better times. In a downright brilliant move, the show unleashed a weeks-long advertising blitz to let people know that things were getting back on track and, even smarter, kicked things off on the first day that it would no longer have ALL MY CHILDREN (sob!) as a time-slot competitor. It’s a little too early to declare that happy DAYS are back again, but we having been this excited about a retooling since GENERAL HOSPITAL booted Bob Guza and brought in Garin Wolf. As they say, stay tuned, because we’ll be keeping our eye on the show and letting you know how it’s looking!

As somewhat of a socially-awkward nerdy-type myself, I would love to know about the future of Penny and Raj on THE BIG BANG THEORY. Statistically speaking, what would you say their chances of working out are? — Kevin
The TV Addict: Okay, here’s the thing. The first thing you should know about the TV Addict, is that if we had even the slightest smidgen of talent in the department of mathematics, we would not be sitting at our desk this morning writing about television. Secondly, Raj and Penny’s future romantic prospects during the upcoming fifth season of THE BIG BANG THEORY is what we would call a classic good news/bad news situation. On the bad news front: All evidence is pointing to Penny and Raj not living happily ever after. But, before you bury your head in World of Warcraft for the three days, we’ve got — you guessed it — some good news for you. The friendship forged courtesy of their unexpected night of passion during May’s season finale looks to be leading towards Penny introducing Raj to his ideal match. Which is to say, fans should brace themselves for the arrival a beautiful love interest for Raj who, in a twist befitting the brilliance of the BIG BANG THEORY, won’t require the not-so-talkative Raj to strike up a verbal conversation because…. drumroll please… she’s deaf!

We’ve heard an awful lot about how the unexpected pregnancy will affect Brennan on the upcoming seventh season of BONES, but not so much about Booth. Care to rectify that situation? — Rachel
The TV Addict: While it probably won’t come as much of a surprise that Booth’s horrible history with his own alcoholic and abusive father will be front of mind now that he’s in the midst of having a baby with Brennan, what sure might come as somewhat of one is that Producers are in the process of casting Booth’s father and a 7-year old version of Booth for a very emotional flashback in episode 4 which sources have characterized as “the perfect father and son moment.”

I’m slightly concerned about Fiona’s lack of date for DEGRASSI’s upcoming prom. Any clues as to who she might be going with? — Allie
While we cannot confirm or deny that Fiona and Charlie will be getting back together by the time DEGRASSI’s prom rolls around, we can share with you an exclusive photo (pictured below) we snapped from Fiona’s ultra-trendy loft during our recent visit to the set of Canada’s most popular export. Read into that what you will!

Any chance you could clarify as to just how many episodes Joshua Jackson’s Peter Bishop will be M.I.A. for during this much-anticipated fourth season of FRINGE? — Maddy
The TV Addict: The chance of us clarifying virtually anything to do with the increasingly complex and wonderful world that is FRINGE is about as likely as us tuning into any show involving a Kardashian. That said, your question just so happens to be one that we’ve been curious about as well, which is why, during the Fox Party at the recent Television Critics Association Press Tour in Los Angeles we posed it to Peter Bishop himself. “We are not a star driven show, we are a character one,” said Josh Jackson when asked if he’s expecting to be in more or less episodes of FRINGE this season in comparison to last. “I know for a fact that they want be to be apart of FRINGE, but I also know that they want to tell the story in the best possible way. And that’s why I think it’s so ballsy to take one of the three leads of a series and show what it’s like when he’s not there. May’s cliffhanger was so big that if they half-assed it in the beginning of the season, I think our audience — who has been so good — would kind of smell the suck and be disappointed that we gave them this big thing and we didn’t actually go for it. We’re going for it and I think that’s super cool”

Any idea what DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES has up its sleeve for what has now become its eighth and final season? — Jennifer
The TV Addict: Even folks who weren’t the best math students in the world know that when it comes to spoilers, what we already knew + new information = wild speculation! So join us now as we use this time-tested formula to piece together a new mystery that’s unfolding on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES! What we already knew: is that when we last left the wives of Wisteria Lane they had made a pact to take the death of Gaby’s abusive stepfather Alejandro to their graves. New information: According to sources, the Fairview town council is planning to rezone a nearby forest for development. Wild speculation: Something tells us that the body that was last seen in Carlos and Gabby Solis’ living room might be resurfacing soon. Agree, disagree, post away.

Please tell me we’ve seen the last of Jennifer Morrison’s Zoey on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER? — Bill
The TV Addict: As much as we’d like to tell you that we’ve seen the last of the latest Mother Maguffin on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER… we can’t. Why? Because her portrayer, Jennifer Morrison wouldn’t close the door on it. “Honestly, to tell you the truth I don’t have a contract there, but I wouldn’t say that it’s for sure,” admitted Morrison during the recent Television Critics Press Tour. “The way that show goes back and forth with all the flashbacks, I feel like they always kind of leave the door open for those kind of things and I loved being there and have a great relationship with everyone over there.”

With the season premiere still weeks away, I’d greatly appreciate some VAMPIRE DIARIES scoop for me to sink my teeth into. — Amy
The TV Addict: Lucky for you, with the season premiere of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES just around the corner, you’re not the only one who can’t contain their excitement over the show’s return. Cue… the Network just released this very-revealing episode description of “The Birthday,” On the morning of Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) 18th birthday, Caroline (Candice Accola) is busy planning a party, but Elena is focused on searching for any clues that might help her discover where Stefan (Paul Wesley) is. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is also searching for Stefan, while trying to protect Elena and keep her from doing anything that would draw Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) attention. Meanwhile, Klaus and Stefan are busy trailing a werewolf named Ray Sutton (guest star David Gallagher, “Super 8”). Now working at the Mystic Grill along with Matt (Zach Roerig), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is struggling to understand why he keeps seeing the ghosts of Vicki (guest star Kayla Ewell) and Anna (guest star Malese Jow) since he was brought back to life by Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) magic. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis) does his best to watch over Elena and Jeremy, while dealing with his grief over Jenna’s death. Finally, Caroline and Tyler (Michael Trevino) face a new and unexpected challenge.

For seven seasons Lynette Scavo was almost single-handedly responsible for raising countless kids amidst marital strife, murder and mayhem. Unfortunately for said aforementioned housewife, this season will bring with it its biggest challenge yet: Looming unemployment.

Yes, after months or rumors and speculation the woman of Wisteria Lane will get a much-deserved reprieve from what has to be one of the country’s most ill-fated addresses as President of ABC Entertainment Paul Lee confirmed during this weekend’s executive session at the 2011 Television Critics Association Press Tour in Los Angeles that the upcoming eighth season of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES will be its last.

“I did that weird thing when you hear big news where you sort of distance yourself from it. I was with my friend [actress] Sarah Paulson who kept going, ‘How are you feeling, what’s going on, how are you feeling?’,” explained Felicity Huffman during an ABC’s cocktail party. “Then I went home, was really sad and I cried. I cried at the kitchen table with Bill [Husband William H. Macy] and then my daughter came in and asked what’s going on and he said ‘Her job is ending,’ and she went, “Oh Mamma, you’re gonna work again!’ I was like, I wish you were my agent.”

And while there’s no doubt that the talented Huffman — who first arrived on our radar playing producer Dana Whitaker on Aaron Sorkin’s brilliant-but-cancelled SPORTS NIGHT — will have no problem finding her next gig (Said a half-joking Huffman, “There’s that great quote about when you break up with someone that the only way to get over somebody is to get under somebody and I think I still miss SPORTS NIGHT but I’ve had subsequent jobs that thrill me and engage me and I feel enriched by, so I think it takes another job coming along.”), television is a tricky business. Particularly when one just spent the better part of the past decade starring in a show that at the height of its popularity could be found in upwards of 25 million living rooms every Sunday night at 9PM.

“You totally go into acting jail where they [the audience] can’t see you as anything else but Lynette and that’s tough,” admitted Huffman when asked about her level of nervousness with regards to audiences being able to accept her in other roles post-HOUSEWIVES. “All things being equal, I think you should sort of disappear for five years and then come back and sort of recreate yourself.”

Luckily for Huffman, who is currently in the midst of shooting episode three of what has very quickly just become a far more interesting season of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, the actress won’t have much time to contemplate her future career path just yet.

“Tonight I heard that I’m turning into a “cougar” which just makes my skin crawl.. yuk!” laughed Huffman when pressed for details on what fans can expect from the soon-to-be separated Scavos come the start of the season. “I don’t know what they have in store but I think the only thing we haven’t explored is what happens in divorce. What happens to the kids, and you’ve got two homes, custody, watching your husband going out with someone else, I think that is fertile ground and very true.”

Adding, “Now that it’s the eighth year you know they can bust things wide apart.”

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES returns for its eight and final season this Sunday September 25th on ABC (CTV in Canada). Catch up with past episodes you may have missed for free online at clicktowatch.tv

Although I’ve really been enjoying all the scoop you’ve been posting from Sunday’s MuchMusic Video Awards, I couldn’t help but notice that we haven’t heard anything from THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’ Kat Graham, who I know for a fact was in attendance! Any reason why? — Jess
The TV Addict: Simply put, much like her stunning dress, Graham was holding her cards a little too close to the vest when it came to sharing season three spoilers. Well, except to reveal that there is one thing we’re fairly certain she won’t be worrying about when it comes to what’s in store for Bonnie during the third season of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. That thing of course being: Death! “Technically, I already died in the second season finale, so I’m not too worried,” joked Graham when asked if she was at all concerned with Jeremy’s history of dearly-departed girlfriends. “Plus, it certainly helps that the characters have such a huge fan base rooting for them.”

Any word on what creator Marc Cherry has up his sleeve for DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES traditional season long mystery this fall? — Zoe
The TV Addict: Not so much of a word, as an inkling that said mystery might have a little something to do with the newest arrival on the lane. According to sources, Producers have quietly been on the look out for a love interest for Vanessa Williams’ Renee, who moves into town along with his out-of-control teenaged daughter to escape his crazy ex-wife who not surprisingly enough may not be too far behind.

With TRUE BLOOD’s fourth season premiere just around the corner, I’m going to need something, anything, to get me through until Sunday! — Michelle
The TV Addict: Although there’s plenty to love about Sunday’s season premiere, Stephen Moyer fans in particular will get a real kick out of the season’s second episode which flashes back all the way to London’s punk scene circa 1982 to reveal a very cool bit of backstory about Bill Compton that sheds some much needed light on the current predicament he finds himself in. Oh, and if your tastes run more towards younger, blonder Ryan Kwanten variety, you’ll be happy to know that poor Jason Stackhouse will spend the entire episode tied to a bed for reasons we’re really not about to get into here.

Any word on what’s in store for 90210 now that the much-beleaguered has two new showrunners at the helm? — April
The TV Addict: Family drama, and lots of it when Navid will not only be forced to deal with his annoying high school-aged sister (Think: Kardashian!) but will continue to deal with the fallout from his father’s exile courtesy of the arrival of an Uncle who is somewhat less than pleased with Navid’s role in destroying his family’s multi-million dollar adult video business, not to mention the lifestyle that came with it.

Anything positive to report on the Annie and Liam front? — Jenn
The TV Addict: Keeping in mind first and foremost not to shoot the messenger, we have absolutely nothing positive to report on the Annie and Liam front. Seriously. Things could not be worse for 90210′s most adorable couple who by all accounts will start off the season further apart than ever thanks in no small part to a mysterious young woman who followed Liam back from his summer job working on a fishing boat in Alaska, and an equally mysterious upper classmen at California University who may-or-may-not have befriended Annie for all the wrong reasons.

Is Nancy’s lesbian affair serious, or just another desperate ratings ploy on behalf of Showtime to promote WEEDS? — Brenda
The TV Addict: If you my friend are actually going as far as to accuse a Network of using a gay/lesbian storyline in a half-hearted attempt to boost ratings ploy, we have nothing more to say to you then…. has anyone told you that you may have what it takes to be a Network Executive?! Of course on a more serious note, while Nancy’s jailhouse tryst is being somewhat blown out of proportion by Showtime’s salivating PR team, it’s only fair to mention that her Russian cell mate Zoya (Olga Sosnovska) may in fact hold the key to a fresh start when Nancy is inevitably released from prison. Literally.

With rumors running rampant with regards to several romantic interests in Annie Walker’s life as the second season of COVERT AFFAIRS unfolds, I would love some intel on which suitor she’ll choose. — David
The TV Addict: With as many as four men ensnared by the luminous CIA beauty, ranging from the mysterious Ben Mercer to the dashing Auggie to the bad boy Jai Wilcox and to suave Mossad agent Eyal Lavin, Annie Walker’s dance card is very full and it is enough to keep a girl dancing all season long. But one thing is for certain, one of these contenders for her heart will be given a gentle kiss goodbye as Annie leaves him standing alone on the tarmac.

Loved Loved Loved Sunday’s two-hour premiere of FALLING SKIES. So much so that I have to ask, is Tom going to successfully be able to rescue his son Ben? — Allison
The TV Addict: Although it should probably come as no surprise that Tom’s operation to rescue son Ben will not be an easy one, what certainly might come as a surprise is the price at least one member of Tom’s team will pay in saving Ben’s life. What’s more, saving (or not saving) Ben’s life may just be the start of a far more insidious problem.
