Well known for her country singing prowess, Laura Bell Bundy is also demonstrating her comedy chops on two different television shows this year. She has made a memorable appearance on the CW series HART OF DIXIE as Shelby, who first dated George Tucker (Scott Porter) and then turned her amorous affections on Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson). Then in a stroke of good fortune, Laura was also cast this year in the FX comedy series ANGER MANAGEMENT, playing opposite Charlie Sheen as a psychologist with issues of her own. In a recent exclusive interview, Laura candidly shared all the fun she is having working on both shows and how neither has put a crimp in her also very active singing career. [Read more...]

HART OF DIXIE launches its third season on Monday, October 7th and who else to talk about the exciting new developments in Bluebell than their own Brick Breeland, aka Tim Matheson. When we left off at the end of season two, Brick, Bluebell’s seasoned MD in residence, was about to turn the hamlet on its ear with an elopement to the much-younger Shelby (Laura Bell Bundy) and he was no worse off with his medical practice by the departure of Zoe. Tim Matheson sat down with theTVaddict.com to tease us on season three of HART OF DIXIE and to give us some insight on how the citizens of Bluebell are faring with the return of Zoe Hart.
Actor/Director Tim Matheson has a long standing career in Hollywood. Working with some of Hollywood’s comedy legends, Matheson has managed to be one of the few to make a name for himself on and off camera in the new millennium. As a director, Matheson has shot on television shows like CRIMINAL MINDS, BURN NOTICE and DROP DEAD DIVA. In this exclusive interview, Matheson chats about his experiences directing, what he loves about HART OF DIXIE and what he thinks endears audiences to Bluebell’s zany residents. [Read more...]
Just when you thought you were safe from America’s seemingly never-ending election cycle, The CW would kindly ask that you consider taking part in one last vote. It’s election night in beautiful BlueBell Alabama and the stakes have never been higher. Does challenger Ruby Jeffries have what it takes to defeat incumbent Mayor Lavon Hayes? Umm, do we look like Nate Silver?! Heck, all we know for sure is that one winner will be crowned by the end of HART OF DIXIE’s Tuesday November 13th episode ominously titled “I Walk the Line.” First look photos of which have been handily posted after the jump. As hard as it might be to imagine, being left at the altar may prove to be the very best thing that could have happened to HART OF DIXIE’s George. “You’re going to see him stand alone for a little bit,” says portrayer Scott Porter, “and kind of grow as an adult, which he hasn’t been able to do, because he’s been in a relationship for 15 years. It’s going to be nice to see him without the shackles of that relationship, outside of that triangle and trying to find himself as a single guy!”
Could this mean that George is about to become something of a man-ho? “I hope so, for his sake,” says Porter with a laugh, “but I don’t think that’s going to happen! Without giving away too much, relationships are going to change, and you are going to see more of the ‘New Orleans’ George rather than the Lemon-and-George George.” [Read more...]
Wondering why HART OF DIXIE’s Lemon Breeland is looking as though she has just seen a ghost? Well, either she just came to the realization that somebody at The CW decided to release a handful of first look HART OF DIXIE season two photos sans shirtless shots of Bluebell’s best asset (Err… Wilson Bethel’s Wade Kinsella), or she’s still reeling from the aftermath of her wedding to George that didn’t exactly go off as planned during last May’s season finale. But hey, don’t take our word for it, judge for yourself by getting a gander at a slew of first look photos from the show’s upcoming October 2nd season premiere appropriately titled “I Fall to Pieces.” [Read more...]

The TV Addict: Happy to! But rather than have us let the sunshine in, we have a feeling fans would much prefer to hear direction from executive producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan, who had this to say when we posed that very question at Fox’s All-Star Celebration during the recent Summer portion of the annual Television Critics Association Press Tour in Hollywood:
The TV Addict: Please just tell me everything you can about the upcoming season premiere?
Nathan: It happens at the very beginning of the season!
Hanson: It ends about forty-five minutes in!
Nathan: With commercials it’s about an hour!
Hanson: At the end of last season Brennan was on the run because of Pellant and the season opener asks the question as to whether our guys get her back and put Pallant in jail so that she can come back. Chances are they’ll succeed because we have a second episode!
Nathan: But they might not succeed in the way that think they’re going to succeed.
Hanson: Things don’t resolve. [Read more...]
