PROJECT RUNWAY (9PM, LIFETIME)

BETTER THINGS (10PM, FX)
New Series Alert! “Sam copes with lady issues” may not sound like must see TV, but we can pretty much guarantee based on the few episodes we’ve screened is that Sam’s portrayer Pamela Adlon will soon be coping with what dress to wear for her guaranteed Emmy nomination.

QUEEN OF THE SOUTH (10PM, USA)
In the Season 1 finale, Teresa risks her life to protect Güero’s book; Camila’s runs into trouble with her takeover; and Epifanio receives new intelligence that could change everything. Cue Ominous Music… Da… Da… Da…

AMERICAN HORROR STORY (10PM, FX)
Season Premiere: Ryan Murphy’s repertory players — including Sarah Paulson, Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson — return for a sixth season of scares. Nice work if you can get it.

SOUTH PARK (10PM, Comedy)
Season Premiere: America’s most topical animated institution tackles the recent Colin Kaepernick controversy.

BLINDSPOT (10PM, NBC)

YOU’RE THE WORST (10PM, FXX)
Not-So-Fun-Fact: Next to HALT AND CATCH FIRE, this FXX gem is the one show we seriously regret being so far behind on.

BIG BROTHER (8PM, CBS)
The Power of Veto competition is held. Full disclosure, we’re somewhat proud of ourselves that this BIG BROTHER neophyte has absolutely no idea what CBS’ description of tonight’s special episode means. #teamscriptedTV

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT (8PM, NBC)
Season Finale: The finalists perform one last time… one last time… err, sorry, just got side-tracked by a lyric from Hamilton, and yes, we know we have a problem!

DEADLIEST CATCH: DUNGEON COVE (9PM, DISCOVERY)
Series Premiere: Just once, we’d like a TV network to be honest about naming their spinoff-series by borrowing a line from the classic Mel Brooks movie Spaceballs, DEADLIEST CATCH: THE SEARCH FOR MORE MONEY.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER (10PM, AMC)
Season Finale: The guys visit Phuket Thailand, get massages and attend a boxing event as part of Terry’s birthday celebration.

HALT AND CATCH FIRE (10PM, AMC)
Donna and Gordon decide to treat themselves to a vacation at home instead of camping. Bos and Cameron return to Texas and Ryan and Joe have a revelation. Meanwhile, this TV Addict sits here quietly at his desk bemoaning the fact that he is TWO (!) seasons behind on what we hear has evolved into one helluva series.

ATLANTA (10PM, FX)
A broke Earn tries to date. It’s funny because Donald Glover’s character’s name is “Earn.” But seriously, this show is awesome. Watch it.

In the series premiere, a Pacific island warrior (voiced by Jason Sudeikis) reconnects with his son (SUPERSTORE’s Johnny Pemberton) in California and decides to stay. 2017 MISS AMERICA COMPETITION (9PM, FOX)
Chris Harrison and Sage Steele host the legendary* pageant, which celebrates its 96th year, in Atlantic City at Boardwalk Hall. Judges include Mark Cuban, Gabby Douglas, Sara Foster, Laura Marano, Cole Swindell and Sharlene Wells Hawkes. (Editor’s Note: The ABC PR flack responsible for writing up the above description needs to seriously take a moment and look up the definition of “legendary.”)

Alicia and Madison work to unite two competing factions. Meanwhile, Nick draws upon skills from his past to take on a new role at the colonia.

THE LAST SHIP (9PM, TNT)
Season Finale: According to TNT, “The battle for America reaches its climactic conclusion.” According to the TV Addict, said “conclusion” might be a bit of a misnomer considering the show was just renewed thru season 5!

MASTERS OF SEX (10PM, Showtime)
Season Premiere: What MASTERS OF SEX lacks in “AFFAIR” levels of buzz it makes up for in spades with storylines that actually go somewhere! Case in point, season 4 begins with Masters and Johnson searching for purpose after their fallout and looking to work to save them as their personal lives crash down around them.
