This Just In: CBS Cancels its Under-performing Monday Night Laugher PARTNERS

Good News: Our long held hopes of an UGLY BETTY spin-off featuring Michael Urie and Becki Newton just got that much closer to reality. Bad News: Particularly now that Urie will have a little more free time on his hands thanks to today’s disappointing, albeit expected news, that CBS has cancelled its under performing Monday night laugher PARTNERS. As aptly described in the premiere episode of the new series PARTNERS, when two best friends find their soulmates, there are no longer just two couples, but three – for there are some friendships that are just as strong as romantic relationships.
