In a new clip of the coaches performing a medley of each other’s songs, we see the same camaraderie and playfulness that we’ve come to expect from NBC’s ratings darling. It looks like it’s going to be a great season!

Red Carpet Redux: Adam Levine, Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin and Jacquie Lee Reflect on THE VOICE Finale [Video]

Tessanne Chin the voice

The fifth season of THE VOICE ended with some incredible performances, including a surprise duet by coach Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga. At the end of the night, Jamaican darling Tessanne Chin was crowned the winner, while sixteen year old Jacquie Lee earned the runner-up spot. This ended Christina’s dream for her first win as a coach and gave Adam his second victory. Adam still trails Blake, who has won the competition three times, so the battle will rage on between those two next season.

Aside from the selection of the next “voice,” the performances on last night’s show were beyond impressive. Lady Gaga performed her new song “Do What U Want,” Celine Dion took the stage to promote her new album “Loved Me Back To Life,” and there were also appearances by One Republic, Aloe Blacc, and Ne-yo. Most people fled straight to the after party, but theTVaddict was able to catch up with Adam Levine, Tessanne, Jacquie, and Will Champlin. Check out their reflections on the finale after the jump. THE VOICE Video: Adam Levine, CeeLo Green and Carson Daly React to Last Night’s Elimination

Last night’s THE VOICE was a tough elimination. A really tough elimination. In a shocking turn of events, former front-runner Matthew Schuler was sent home by America. Schuler found himself in the bottom two alongside James Wolpert and at the mercy of the only remaining Twitter save of the season. Despite shaky performances from Wolpert this week, America heard coach Adam Levine’s plea and saved him. This leaves five competitors total from teams Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton. Tessanne Chin, Wolpert, Will Champlin, Cole Vosbury, and Jacquie Lee.

theTVaddict.com hit the red carpet after the live elimination to catch up with coaches Adam Levine and CeeLo Green and host Carson Daly. Check out our video interviews after the jump (and tune in tomorrow for our interview with Schuler). [Read more...]

THE VOICE Video: Adam Levine Reveals His Favorite Contestant to Beat!

Last night THE VOICE sent home Kat Robichaud and Austin Jenckes. The competition continues to heat up, but there are a couple standouts who will likely make the finale. So which coach does the World’ Sexiest Man Alive (according to People Magazine) aka Adam Levine think is the one to beat? We asked him that question last night. [Read more...]

THE VOICE Video: Blake Shelton, Carson Daly, Jonny Gray and Josh Logan React to Last Night’s Twitter Twist!

After Monday’s THE VOICE performances, it looked like Will Champlin and Ray Boudreaux could be heading home this week.  But, their luck held up and they will stay to perform another week. Jonny Gray, Kat Robichaud, and Josh Logan dropped to the bottom three spots.  At this point, THE VOICE debuted its newest twist – the Tweet Save.  For a period of five minutes, viewers watching the live performance on the east coast could tweet the name of the competitor they wished to say.  It took about thirty seconds to calculate the Twitter votes (I’m still unclear on how this is even possible), and Kat emerged as the saved competitor.

As could be expected, on the red carpet after the show, there were lots of questions for Carson Daly on this new system.  A key issue is whether it alienates THE VOICE fans that watch the west coast airing.  To see Carson’s response, Blake’s reaction about who was saved, and parting words from Jonny and Josh, check out our video interviews after the jump.  [Read more...]
