Most Chilling Premiere: Just how terrifying was the beautifully shot, ridiculously well acted and meticulously paced murder mystery that was Sunday’s premiere of THE KILLING? Rumor has it that the CSI, NCIS and LAW & ORDER franchisees were last spotted curled up in the corner in the fetal position crying. Suffice to say, AMC just raised the bar for procedurals. Big time.

Proof We’re In The Wrong Business: JERSEY SHORE “star” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi earned around $24,000 for two 80-minute appearances at Rutgers University.

Best Unintentional Product Placement: When a scheduling conflict for Titus Welliver precluded an appearance by Glenn Childs on Tuesday’s episode of THE GOOD WIFE the producers turned to a talking doll to deliver Childs’ message to Matt Czuchry’s Cary. An adorable animatronic lion produced by a small Japanese company that we simply must own!

The “Why Bother” Award Goes To…: Britain’s ITV who, apparently not realizing that the ship sailed several years ago, are making a four-part movie to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the “Titanic.”

Saddest Ending: Despite an uneven freshman season that didn’t quite live up to its promise, Tuesday’s NO ORDINARY FAMILY finale most definitely set up what would surely be a comically cool second season featuring 80 big baddies on the loose… assuming of course the proverbial powers at ABC are feeling generous.

Best Advice We Have To Give: Hey, TEEN MOM star Farrah Abraham… listen up. Rather than writing what your website, in an audacious display of delusion, proclaims to be “the most anticipated book of 2011” and then going on a book tour… raise your dang baby!

Biggest Bandwagon Alert: If our Twitter feed continues to explode during every single AMERICAN IDOL results show, we may have to actually start watching this thing again. Seriously folks, get a grip.

The Accidental Prophet Award Goes To…: Glenn Beck, for having spent months predicting that the end of the world was upon us when, in reality, it was actually the end of his Fox News Channel show that was drawing nigh.

Most Cleverly Timed Announcement: Have we really become that cynical that the first thought to pop into our head following the news that Tina Fey has a “bun in the oven” was just how clever it was that she timed her pregnancy announcement to coincide with the release of her hilarious new book Bossypants? Why yes we have.

Meltdown O’ The Week: Cold fish Alexandria kept her cool on AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL even as bitchy beauty Brittani berated her in front of Nigel and clients. When called out for behavior unbecoming a model, Britt ran back stage and hyperventilated, cried and had a mini panic attack.

Best Mythbusting: When it came time for TOP MODEL’s Tyra to announce who’d be going home, she made it clear that she’d been outvoted, explaining that despite what many believe, she does not, in fact, have final say if she disagrees with the judge’s decision.

Most Blatant Rip-Off: Could someone please tell TLC and Ryan Seacrest that their “new” show — I KID WITH BRAD GARRETT (in which the gentle giant interacts with children) — is a big ol’ rip off of the INFOMANIA segment “Kid’s Kouch” with the hilarious Ben Hoffman. And not nearly as funny.

Oddest Decision: WWE head Vince McMahon announced he wants to take the “wrestling” out of World Wrestling Entertainment. So what will WWE stand for now? Apparently, nothing, as they’ll just be three kinda random letters.

Biggest Shock: After surviving weeks on Redemption Island, SURVIVOR’s Matt rejoined the newly-merged tribes… only to be blindsided by a vote that sent him straight back to the island.

THE GOOD: In a word, well two: Tina Fey. Whether she’s trotting out her eerily spot-on Sarah Palin impersonation (You just know some poor NBC exec is already developing TODD!), scarfing down a “Duncan Hines’ Brownie Husband” in a hilarious commercial spoof, or playing a lovelorn teacher inappropriately eyeballing her student (Justin Bieber), there is nothing not funny about the best thing to happen to SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE since the fast forward button (But more on Fred Armisen’s painfully unfunny cold open later).

THE BAD: Even Tina Fey has her limits as an actress. Which means when it comes to playing the likes of Al Roker, Tiger Woods and President Obama, Fey must take a back seat to the never-not-disappointing Keenan Thompson and Fred Armisen. The latter of which almost single-handedly zapped the excitement heading into last night’s Fey-hosted instalment with an “Obama explains the Census” cold open which was both inexcusably unfunny (Incest jokes, really?) a dated.

THE UGLY: Aside from the fact that recent headlines from The Catholic Church make the Devil look good (Jason Sudeikis FTW!) The fact that Tina Fey can’t host every Saturday. Which means Kristen Wiig, who spent most of last night warming the bench will more than likely be back next Saturday… with a vengeance.

Yesterday, 30 ROCK star, current poster girl for funny women everywhere and TV Addict obsession Tina Fey was kind enough to take an hour out of her busy schedule to talk to reporters about 30 ROCK’s return this April 10 on NBC.

1. On the strike
I think that hopefully the public just wants to see their favorite shows back on the air. In terms of 30 ROCK, everybody’s just happy to be back working. In our world, the strike didn’t happen. Although oddly enough, before the writer’s strike we had a story about a strike, but we shelved it. The strike was a big enough pain and fans at home probably don’t want to hear anymore about it.

2. On Political Humor
I don’t miss the news humor business. I think it’s a lot of responsibility and pressure. On 30 ROCK we just like to put things out there that spark discussion. We’re more about observing than endorsing a specific campaign. But we do have a story-line where Jack tries to in-list Tracy to be the new black face of the Republican Party.

3. On critical acclaim versus ratings success
I think the way ratings are measured is going to continue to change because the traditional Neilson rating might not quite reflect everyone who’s watching the show. There are DVR’s, the internet etc. I don’t worry about ratings much because you can’t control them. We try to make the show as good as we can and we’re going to keep making them until someone tells us to stop.

4. On being the poster girl for funny women
I think the great thing about the Vanity Fair article was that it highlighted so many women succeeding in comedy. It doesn’t put that individual pressure on one woman to be the ‘lady face’ of comedy.

5. On comic inspirations
THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW was the greatest television show ever. I’m also a big fan of the British and American versions of THE OFFICE. I grew up on a lot of classic TV shows. Bob Newhart, Mary Tyler Moore, Carol Burnett. I love Christopher Guest’s movies.

6. On writing for herself
I feel like the nice thing about having a whole writing staff is that I had, at least last season, a tendency to under-serve my character. The rest of the staff takes great care of my character. It’s easier now than it used to be.

7. On being part of NBC’s illustrious Thursday night line-up.
From EARL through SCRUBS it’s the best night of comedy on TV. Every show is fast moving, funny and intelligent. Even EARL which is about this trashy dumb group of dirtbags, the jokes are all really smart and funny and we’re very proud to be with all the shows.

8. On her dream guest star
I’d love to get Oprah to play my best friend. I want to spend time with Oprah and I’m not sure what I need to do to make that happen. I would say we’ve been super lucky with all of our guest stars. Will Arnett, Dean Winters [the Beeper King] and hopefully Edie Falco will all be returning this spring. Tim Conway is going to be in our second episode when we come back.

I’ve fully stopped apologizing for being in our show. I’m having a very good time shooting these episodes now. It feels like the pressure is off.

It’s funny because those are my least favorite stories to do. They’re always pitching them in the writer’s room and I’m always saying no! Peter Dinklage would be okay though. That guy is awesome.
