Good News: After weeks of anticipation, NBC has officially given CHUCK a full-season pick up, bringing the little-series-that-could’s fourth season order to a whopping 24 episodes! Bad News: For a certain website which has made a name for themselves touting CHUCK’s renewal prospects on a weekly basis!

Good News: For fans of the freshman NBC series CHASE, which despite consistently lagging behind timeslot competitors HAWAII FIVE-0 and CASTLE, also saw their series awarded with a full-season pickup. Bad News: For J.J. Abrams’ UNDERCOVERS, whose lacklustre performance on Wednesday only warranted an additional order of four scripts. Ouch.

Good News: On Friday August 6, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett welcomed their second child into the world, Abel James Arnett, weighing in at 7lbs., 13oz.. Bad News: Noticeably absent amidst NBC’s recent flurry of announcements throughout the past 24 hours is a season premiere date for PARKS AND RECREATION. Seriously NBC, what is up with that?!

Good News: In a no-brainer of epic proportions, NBC has issued its first scripted series pickup for the 2010-2011 season to UNDERCOVERS, the high-anticipated new drama from J.J. Abrams and Josh Reims.

Better News: In a refreshing change of pace, a big-budgeted network drama doesn’t feature a slew of really good looking white people, but rather Boris Kodjoe (SOUL FOOD) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (DOCTOR WHO) as married ex-CIA agents who get thrust back into the world of espionage when their friend Nash (Carter Macintyre) goes missing while on the trail of a Russian arms dealer.

Best News of All: If all goes according to [our] plan, Monday nights just got a helluva lot hotter thanks to the perfect pairing of CHUCK and UNDERCOVERS. We’re just sayin’
