FALLING SKIES Scoop: Stars Moon Bloodgood, Seychelle Gabriel, Sarah Carter and Doug Jones Talk Season 4 Challenges

One would think that after nearly 4 years of fighting against the Espheni, Mechs and Skitters that our heroes of the 2nd Mass would be up for any challenge. Yet Season 4 has introduced a few more curveballs and surprises in the ongoing fight to reclaim the planet.

In Season 4 of FALLING SKIES, our heroes face the biggest challenge yet: separation. The 2nd Mass was always strongest when they were all together, fighting the good fight together and knowing that they faced certain death together fueled their passion to fight to the bitter end against the Espheni and their minions. But Season 4 quickly scatters our heroes and they are left to wonder if their friends and family have survived on their own.

While at WonderCon 2014, stars Moon Bloodgood, Seychelle Gabriel, Sarah Carter and Doug Jones teased how their characters survive and what further surprises are in store. For one, baby Lexi is no longer a baby or even a young child anymore; her rapid-aging turns her into a young woman. Separated from her parents Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and Anne Glass (Moon Bloodgood), Lexi turns to Lourdes (Seychelle Gabriel) as her closest family, leaving Tom and Anne searching frantically for their daughter. Good fortune also reunites Maggie (Sarah Carter) and Ben (Connor Jessup), which leads to a romantic complication. Then as for Cochise and the Volm, they have bigger problems to deal with than the squabbles on Earth. [Read more…]

With many U.S. fans are still recouping from the Season 3 tragedies – the deaths of Matthew (Dan Stevens) and Sybil (Jessica Brown Findlay) — viewers may not be quite ready to embrace what Season 4 has in store.

Six months has passed since Matthew’s untimely demise and Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) is still in mourning. In fact, the entire Grantham household seems to be walking on egg-shells to not disturb Mary’s grief-stricken life. But grieving can only go on for so long and even sympathetic Tom (Allen Leech) knows that Mary needs a distraction. Fortunately, there is a nanny issue to address, tenant properties that need inspecting, and a massive estate to manage, all which may or may not be under Mary’s prevue as Matthew’s widow. Unfortunately, shaking Mary out of her stupor will be quite the task. But let’s not forget that Mary is now a very eligible widow – and many suitors will be circling around from a safe distance. HAVEN: A Truly Terrifying Trouble Terrorizes One of Our Heroes

Season 4 of Syfy’s drama series HAVEN has brought all kinds of surprises: multiple Troubles, morphing Troubles, and one devious newcomer known as William (Colin Ferguson).  We all thought we knew the rules of Troubles. But we were wrong.  Just as soon as William popped through the portal door, he was stirring up all kinds of trouble and giving people new Troubles – ones that neither they, nor their ancestors had before.  William proved time and time again that he could create a new Trouble and infect anyone he wanted.  He also showed that he could also change a person’s Trouble, causing it to manifest at an earlier age or have a wider range than before.  William is literally a Trouble-maker.  Then we found out that he is but one-half of a Trouble-making pair:  Audrey (Emily Rose) is his split-apart – meaning anything that happens to William, happens to her, which was shockingly proven when Nathan (Lucas Bryant) shot William and Audrey developed a gunshot wound too.  This has made it exceedingly difficult to get rid of him.  Our HAVEN heroes cannot simply kill him, as much as they desperately want to.

That leaves them in a huge conundrum:  how to solve a problem like William?  Worse yet, the longer he’s around, the more he seems to bring out the worse in Audrey.  He’s not just a thorn in her side, he’s actually bringing to the surface memories of her former existence – the original Audrey, the one who may or may not have relished cursing the residents of Haven with the Troubles, one-by-one over a century ago.
