Finally, the announcement SCRUBS fans (such as myself) have been waiting for. SCRUBS owners (Touchstone and NBC) have finally gotten their act together and have begun negotiating with Apple to get SCRUBS on the iTunes Music Store.
Let’s hope the deal exposes SCRUBS to millions of more fans and helps it’s anemic ratings, as it’s done for the OFFICE.
From iMediaConnection: “iMediaConnection reports that NBC Universal and Touchstone Television are working a on a deal to add Scrubs Episodes to the Apple iTunes store.
The deal is unique in that it requires cooperation between NBC and a 3rd Party Studio (Touchstone, in this case) which produces the show to be offered (Scrubs). According to Variety, the two companies are splitting the profits (50-50).”
