According to the Hollywood Reporter, buzz is building that NBC is considering moving veteran drame ER out of the Thursday at 10pm slot that has been its home since the series began in 1994. Speculation is that ER could help NBC on a different night (say Tuesday or Wednesday, being paired with one of the eighteen LAW AND ORDER’s that are on the air). Aaron Sorkin’s STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP (the title definitely needs to be shortened!) is the leading contender to take ER’s old timeslot.
