When did Thursday become mini-episode madness? Between the start of THE OFFICE WEBISODES, and the recent announcement by Cingular/HBO that you’ll soon be able to catch hit HBO shows on your cell phone (see story), it seems as though you can throw out your TV in favour of a cell phone and computer!
Not wanting to feel left out, FX just announced at the TCA press tour that they will created a mini-episode of it’s hit series THE SHIELD to air on-demand, online and across numerous multi-media platforms to help promote the upcoming sixth season premiere in early 2007. The show will be entitled THE SHIELD 5.5 and will be similar to the RESCUE ME 2.5 video short that was released prior to the third-season premiere. (Thanks to MultiChannel News for the tip)
