In a few hours I’ll be on a plane to San Diego for Comic Con 2006. With only hours to my departure, I still have way too much to do (posting on theTVaddict.com really shouldn’t be a priority, but sadly, it is!). I have to set my PVR (Tivo) to record my weekend shows, send off some emails, pack my bag and most importantly, ensure my Chewbacca costume fits into my suitcase. Don’t worry, I’m so kidding. Dressing up as Chewbacca is so 2001 Comic Con – this year I’ll be dressing up as ‘Beast’ from X-Men 3.
Look in all honesty, I’m not really into the entire costume thing. In fact I’m not really that into comics. I’m going to Comic Con for TV (hence the name, theTVaddict.com). I’ll be interviewing numerous members of the cast of VERONICA MARS, in addition to meeting the cast of HEROES (Having already seen the fantastic pilot, I’m very excited). In my spare time I’ll be stalking cast members from BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (Hey, I can dress up as Cylon #4 – I look human!), as well as desperatelytry to convince my travel buddy Lauren to let me attend the BRISCOE COUNTY JR. Q&A.
