This Week on TV

Busy week, so gotta get right to this one! But I am getting more and more excited every day for the new season!

Sunday starts off the week slowly, with only 3 new episodes, plus NFL Preseason Football: Washington Redskins at Cincinnati Bengals on NBC. The Dead Zone is new, along with The 4400, where there is a Jordan Collier sighting! You can also see the new show Three Moons Over Milford. This is a show where you either love it or gag. lol I personally enjoyed it. It’s syrupy sweet, enjoyably light and you really don’t have to think much while you watch. Plus, one of the leads is Rob Boltin, who some might recognize from the ABC Family Original Movie Pizza My Heart and guest-starring roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, The King of Queens, Joey, Las Vegas & more. He’s a cutie! It also stars Elizabeth McGovern from the movie Ordinary People, Nora Dunn from Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm & several movies. If you are lacking in shows to watch right now, definitely check out Three Moons Over Milford.

On Monday, watch the remaining three teams compete to find the final artifact on Treasure Hunters and catch the season finale of Hell’s Kitchen on FOX. Don’t forget one of the best shows on cable tv, The Closer, where Brenda must testify in a custody case pitting her boss against his estranged wife. Also new are Saved, Kyle XY & Falcon Beach, with Lane on the run from Mook and the police and watch Jason & Paige be tempted to renew their romance.

For all you young men out there, Tuesday is your night. Watch the Miss Teen USA 2006 pageant on NBC. If you are in the mood for reality, catch Big Brother: All-Stars & Rock Star: Supernova on CBS and Work Out & Queer Eye on BRAVO. If you aren’t a reality fan, Rescue Me is also new on FX. Tommy’s dad is missing after they have a bitter argument, Tommy is disgusted by Lou’s latest love interest and Sean & Maggie’s disastrous meeting with the priest threatens their future marriage. Also, watch one of my new favorite shows, Eureka on SciFi. If none of those sound good, don’t forget that you can catch two episodes each of House, Gilmore Girls & Veronica Mars! Plus, Georgia learns a hard truth when SciFi airs another episode of Dead Like Me.

Wednesday I’m going to either cry or cheer, depending on who wins on the finale of So You Think You Can Dance. It’s the final performances on America’s Got Talent, a contestant on Rock Star: Supernova gets voted off, and a man attempts to find inner peace through unconventional means on 30 Days. On Project Runway, the models choose which style icon will inspire the designers.

On Thursday, catch another game of NFL Preseason Football: Kansas City Chiefs at New York Giants, this time on FOX. Find out who finally wins the $1 million prize on America’s Got Talent! You can see new episodes of Who Wants to Be a Superhero (is anyone else REALLY annoyed with some of the “superheroes”? LOL) and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. This episode is called Dennis and Dee Get a New Dad, and Dee receives numerous emails on her myspace page from a stranger. Hah. If you missed the last 2 episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, you can watch It’s the End of the World and (As We Know It) on ABC tonight as well! And last but well, least, is a new episode of Windfall, where Cameron & Nina get into a car accident and Peter gets close to Sunny.

Friday ends the week on a terrific note! Besides ANOTHER game of NFL Preseason Football: San Diego Chargers at Chicago Bears, there are new episodes of Monk and Psych on USA. Then catch the huge 200th Episode of Stargate SG-1 in which SG-1 tries to help Martin Lloyd with his film script as a cover story to keep the Stargate Program secret. You can also start watching an hour earlier and see the Sci Fi Inside: Stargate SG-1 200th Episode special. After Stargate SG-1 is a new episode of Stargate Atlantis, in which Dr Elizabeth Weir awakens in a psychiatric hospital to discover that her Atlantis experience was a figment of her imagination. Oh no! lol If you missed this week’s episode of Kyle XY earlier in the week, don’t forget, you can see the repeat on ABC tonight!

If you can’t tell, the week is beginning to slow down a bit as the new season gets ready to start. That won’t last long, will it? lol And thank goodness more shows are starting soon. I need more variety to write about! It’s the same stuff ALL the time! hehe

Everyone have a great week and let me know what you think!
