Who I Think Will Win: Stockard Channing Emmy voters are in love with Stockard Channing. Her surprise nomination is proof enough. Who watched OUT OF PRACTICE? Really, if you did, email me info@thetvaddict.com
Who I HOPE Will Win: Lisa Kudrow Rather than milk her ‘Pheobe/Friends’ persona for the rest of her career, Lisa Kudrow took the daring approach with her post-Friends career. Her portrayal of Valerie Cherish was as brilliant as it was hard to watch.
Who Was Snubbed: Mary-Louise Parker Mary-Louise Parker’s pot dealing mom in WEEDS is the reason the show is so fantastic. No doubt fans feel Lauren Graham was snubbed this season. To that I say, what exactly was funny about this past season of GILMORE GIRLS
Amrie Predicts:
Who I Think Will Win: Debra Messing Debra Messing – because of the old “aw, poor you, your show is over, let’s reward you for a good run even though you submitted the finale which wasn’t so hot…”
Who I HOPE Will Win: Lisa Kudrow/ Julia Louis-Dreyfus Lisa Kudrow or Julia Louis-Dreyfus, because they both managed to become a character that was very “un-Phoebe” or “un-Elaine” and made me laugh!
Who Was Snubbed: Mary-Louise Parker/ Lauren Graham Mary-Louise Parker or Lauren Graham. Lauren Graham especially….She’s so deserving, and if Debra Messing could be nominated (she was obviously nominated because of previous seasons, as this past final season was not her best), then LG deserved to be as well!
Jenny Predicts:
Who I Think Will Win: Debra Messing Debra Messing (Being that it was it’s last season, the Emmys are notorious for putting series enders at the top.)
Who I HOPE Will Win: Julia Louis-Dreyfus Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Mainly cause I don’t watch The Comeback so I have no idea about Lisa Kudrow. Old Christine is a pretty funny show, too, and JLD is great in the role of ex-wife/mother/sister.)
Who Was Snubbed: Mary-Louise Parker Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds – Although I don’t watch the show, I know many do and think she’s fantastic in it.)
