This Week on TV: Prison Break Returns

Yay! The new Fall TV Season starts this week! Is anyone else excited? I’m so overjoyed that it’s sad. lol

Unfortunately, nothing new really on Sunday. Once again, the week starts out with NFL Preseason Football: Seattle Seahawks at Indianapolis Colts on NBC. I know a lot of guys that are happy that football is starting though, so that should make them smile! The 4400 & The Dead Zone are also new, along with the quirky Three Moons Over Milford, in which Mack restarts a relationship with his high-school sweetheart, Michelle has a fling with her financial backer & Claire discovers Alex’s true age. If you haven’t watched this show yet, it really is adorably sweet, light & funny. Certainly not the best around but I enjoy it! The Teen Choice Awards 2006, hosted by Jessica Simpson & Dane Cook and with Rihanna, Kevin Federline, Nelly Furtado & Timbaland performing, are also tonight. If you watched the few episodes last season of Just Legal on WB starring Don Johnson, Jay Baruchel & Jaime Lee Kirchner, they are airing the unaired episodes starting tonight. Catch it before it’s gone! (Or not… heh)

What else can be said about Monday, except for… wait for it…

PRISON BREAK!

One of the most anticipated season premieres is tonight on FOX. Last season, our boys finally escaped and are now running from Bellick and the new character played by William Fichtner (you might remember him as Sheriff Tom Underlay from last season’s Invasion. He plays Special Agent Alexander Mahone who is trying to find the escapees.

Vanished has its series premiere tonight as well, starring Gale Harold (from Queer As Folk), Rebecca Gayheart (from Dead Like Me!) & Ming-Na (from ER). The beautiful young wife of Georgia Senator Jeffrey Collins disappears, and the search for her yields clues suggesting a broad conspiracy.

Along with the premieres is the 1st season finale of Treasure Hunters on NBC. Who will win? Personally, I’m rooting for the Air Force, but the (so-called) Geniuses had a bit of a lead when we left them last week! You can also catch new episodes of The Closer, Saved, Kyle XY & Falcon Beach, in which Erin discovers she is pregnant.

Tuesday has new episodes of Big Brother: All-Stars, Rock Star: Supernova, Rescue Me & Queer Eye, along with a new ep of Eureka, in which Stark, Henry, Fargo, Carter and Allison enlist the help of an aging scientist to stop a catastrophe. Don’t forget about the episode of Dead Like Me airing on SciFi, too. CBS is showing JCPenney Jam: The Concert for America’s Kids. Performers include Mary J. Blige, Andrea Bocelli, Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Botti, Kenny Chesney, 3 Door Down, Sara Evans (who will be on Dancing with the Stars, too!) & Sting. If you missed the premiere of Vanished on Monday, catch a rerun tonight!

Wednesday starts out with new episodes of Rock Star: Supernova, 30 Days & Project Runway. If you missed the premiere of Prison Break, shame on you! But catch a rerun tonight on FOX.

Thursday has another game of NFL Preseason Football: Miami Dolphins at Carolina Panthers, along with new episodes of Windfall, Big Brother: All-Stars & Who Wants to Be a Superhero. The superheroes are judged by children; the contestants must locate the Super Villain in a crowded outdoor mall.

Friday ends the week strong again with the season finales of Monk & Psych and new episodes of Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis, in which Sheppard is taken prisoner by the Genii and enlists an unlikely ally. HBO features the 4th season premiere of Real Time with Bill Maher tonight as well.

Come back next week and look for finales of The 4400, The Dead Zone & more, along with premieres of Celebrity Duets, Bones & Justice! What season/series premieres are you looking forward to the most? Let me know!!
