This Week on TV: Season Premiere Week!

September 17, 2006 By theTVaddict 8 Comments

On your mark… Get set… Go! That’s what I feel like this week for TV. Like I’m off to the races. I can already hear the music. Get ready folks, cause TV Premiere Week has officially arrived!

Sunday starts off the week with a 2-hour Extreme Makeover: Home Edition special (with guest team-leader Marlee Matlin) and an hour and a half season premiere of The Amazing Race. Yay! Also catch new episodes of NFL Football: Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys on NBC, The Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy and The War At Home on FOX, and Three Moons Over Milford, in which residents of Milford bare their souls to one another when the town priest gives up his profession. Also, don’t forget that the WB Network is coming to a close soon! Tonight, they are showing the pilot episodes of 2 cult classics: Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Dawson’s Creek. Don’t miss your chance to see Katie Holmes WITHOUT being under Tom Cruise’s spell! ๐Ÿ˜‰ (Starting earlier in the afternoon are the pilots of Felicity and Angel as well! Wow! So much good tv in a row!)

Monday is full of premieres and new episodes, from Prison Break & Vanished to the premieres of Deal or No Deal and the HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Matthew Perry & Amanda Peet = LUV for me! ๐Ÿ˜€ Also premiering tonight are the Monday night CBS lineup: newbie The Class and returning favs How I Met Your Mother (will a separated Lily & Marshall drag the show down? I hope not!), Two and a Half Men, The New Adventures of Old Christine and CSI: Miami.

Tuesday is currently my favorite night of the week, what with new episodes of House, Standoff (a child-kidnapping victim is the daughter of an Asian crime lord under FBI investigation), Dancing with the Stars (Go Mario, you sexy thing!), Eureka (I LOVE this show! Just keeps getting better every ep in my opinion) and Queer Eye (the SERIES finale, I believe ๐Ÿ™ ). But add to that the season premieres of NCIS, The Unit, Boston Legal, Law & Order: CI & Law & Order: SVU, along with the SERIES premiere of Smith, starring Ray Liotta, John Wells, Virginia Madsen & Simon Baker Wow. What a night! Don’t forget about Dead Like Me repeats on Sci-Fi too! *cry*?
Wednesday is another great night of tv, as my favorite new show of the season, Jericho has its premiere, along with MY highly-anticipated Kidnapped (starring Dana Delaney – I love her!), America’s Next Top Model (on the new CW Network), The Biggest Loser, Criminal Minds & CSI: NY. Also catch new episodes of Bones, Justice (a wild child is accused of murdering her former boyfriend at a posh celebrity rehab center), Dancing with the Stars and the finale of Project Runway, where the winning designer gets money to start a clothing line. I’m so full of TV right now, I’m drooling! I love this week!

Thursday is just as good, with new episodes of Deal or No Deal, Til Death, Happy Hour, Celebrity Duets & Survivor, along with the premieres of Grey’s Anatomy (what will happen with the panties??), ER, My Name is Earl, The Office (where Michael unintentionally outs a gay employee and we deal with the situation between Jim and Pam!), CSI, Shark, starring James Woods, & Six Degrees, starring Bridget Moynahan (Natasha from Sex and the City! That’s a great night of tv, isn’t it??

Friday rounds out the week with new episodes of Deal or No Deal, Celebrity Duets (TWO leave!), Men In Trees, Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis (Ancients return to Atlantis after thousands of years and ask the Stargate team to vacate the city!) along with the premieres of Ghost Whisperer, Close to Home, Numb3rs & Law & Order. If you were a fan of Night Stalker last season, Sci-Fi is showing a previously unaired episode tonight!

That’s it for this week (as if it wasn’t enough!) but check back next week for the premieres of Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, Heroes, Gilmore Girls, Ugly Betty, Supernatural & many more! Yay!
