This Week on TV

September 24, 2006 By theTVaddict 2 Comments

Hey tv fans! Are you enjoying the new fall season so far? I know I am! I’m keeping up fairly well so far, but unless something gets canceled soon, I may be in trouble this week! lol Let’s get to it!

Sunday starts the week off strong with quite a few new episodes. My personal picks are The Amazing Race, the 2-hour episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (they go to Alaska!), the season finale of Three Moons Over Milford and the premieres of Brothers & Sisters on ABC. You can also catch the season premieres of Cold Case, Without a Trace & Desperate Housewives along with new episodes of NFL Football: Denver Broncos at New England Patriots, The Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy & The War at Home.

Monday has the premieres of 2 new shows and one returning: Heroes on NBC (FINALLY! YAY!), Runaway and 7th Heaven on the new CW Network. Now, I know Daniel won’t watch Runaway because he blames it for Everwood’s demise, but I for one am really looking forward to it. I adore Donnie Wahlberg and the premise is great. So I will definitely be watching. ๐Ÿ˜€ Also with new episodes are Deal or No Deal, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Prison Break, Vanished, 2 episodes of Wife Swap, The Class (which I found pretty cute, actually!), How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, The New Adventures of Old Christine & CSI: Miami.

Tuesday, you can see one of the most anticipated premieres of this season, Gilmore Girls. I don’t watch the show but I know how rabid fans are over that show! ๐Ÿ™‚ Also catch the series premiere of Help Me Help You with Ted Danson and new episodes of Law & Order: CI, Law & Order: SVU, Dancing with the Stars (90 minutes tonight!), Boston Legal, NCIS, The Unit, Smith & Eureka. You can catch a rerun of the Heroes & Runaway pilots if you missed them the first time around. Finally, don’t miss the last episodes of House & Standoff before the hiatus for baseball! (And as always, remember the episodes of Dead Like Me on SciFi!)

Wednesday doesn’t have a lot of premieres, just One Tree Hill on the CW Network (Will Nathan be able to rescue Cooper & Rachel?) but there are new episodes of many, many excellent shows! The Biggest Loser is 2 hours tonight, plus new episodes of Kidnapped (which I LOVED last week!), Bones (*grumble* If only you knew what I know about Booth), Justice, America’s Next Top Model, Dancing with the Stars (Who will get voted off this week?), Jericho, Criminal Minds (a young boy is being AUCTIONED OFF by a child pornographer. Ick.) and CSI: NY. There is also a Lost special on ABC that summarizes the show’s first two seasons if you need the recap. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thursday, you can see the season premieres of Ugly Betty, Smallville & Supernatural! So many hot men in one night. Woah! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Also with new episodes are My Name is Earl (Burt Reynolds guest stars!), The Office, Deal or No Deal, ER, Til Death (the hubby & I laugh outrageously at this show. lol), the last performance show of Celebrity Duets, Grey’s Anatomy (did anyone else cry during the season premiere? *bawl* lol), Six Degrees, Survivor, CSI (Danny Bonaduce guest stars!) & Shark.

Friday is the season finale of Celebrity Duets and the 2nd season premiere (150 minutes!) of Doctor Who on SciFi, along with new episodes of Deal or No Deal, Law & Order, Men in Trees, Ghost Whisperer, Close to Home & Numb3rs.

And with that, September comes to a close. What a month it has been in tv land! More shows than a normal human being can watch (or SHOULD watch! LOL) and some absolutely great television. October has the premieres of Everybody Hates Chris, Girlfriends, Dexter, Friday Night Lights, Veronica Mars, Lost & many more, along with the last episodes of many FOX shows before the baseball hiatus! ๐Ÿ™ So check back next week for more information about your favorite shows! Have a great week everybody! — Jenny
