Jenny’s This Week on TV

Ahh, what a crazy holiday vacation. I am SOOO glad to be home! Sorry for running late this week. Let’s see what’s in store for us!

SUNDAY

I know most of you aren’t fans of 7th Heaven, but for those that are, check out the new ep on the CW Network at 8/7c on Sunday. When Ruthie makes an inappropriate comment on the way home from Scotland, airport security takes Eric, Annie and Ruthie in for questioning; Mac visits Sandy to find out whether she is still interested in Simon. Should be a good ep!

Then from 9/8c-11/10c on CBS, catch Alicia Silverstone in the tv movie Candles on Bay Street, which is based on a novel by K.C. McKinnon. Feelings from the past re-emerge for a married man after his old high-school sweetheart returns to town with her son. Get into the holiday spirit while you watch!

If you are a fan of Boston Legal, don’t miss the new episode on a special night tonight at 10/9c! Alan Shore helps Jerry Espenson, whose client stands accused of murdering her ex-girlfriend; Lincoln resurfaces at the firm, taking a peculiar interest in Shirley.

Also on tonight:

MONDAY

On Monday, watch the Fall Finale of Prison Break on FOX at 8/7c! LOTS of good stuff going on! T-Bag tries to track down missing Mrs. Hollander; Sucre’s escape plane faces deadly turbulence; the tables turn on Bellick upon his return to Fox River; Michael and Lincoln are taken into custody and transported back to Fox River. I personally can’t WAIT to see Bellick get his own! hahahahaha

Then turn to ABC for the 2-hour season finale of The Bachelor: Rome, and see who Prince Lorenzo chooses! Prince Lorenzo’s parents fly to Rome to help him decide which bachelorette to choose; an awkward cocktail party ensues; Lorenzo makes his choice.

Also don’t miss the final 4 UNAIRED episodes of Threshold on SciFi! Catch them now before this great show goes away forever. 🙁

Also on tonight:

TUESDAY

Start your Tuesday off with Friday Night Lights on NBC at 8/7c. As Tim and the team celebrate a victory, a frustrated Smash takes drastic measures to improve his on-field performance; Coach Taylor’s daughter considers going on a date with rookie quarterback Matt Saracen.

Then turn to ABC for the series premiere of Big Day at 9/8c. The show focuses on one very, very bad day in someones life — the day of a young couples wedding — and the stakes are high. Oh, were not defusing a bomb here. No, its something worse. Like this life and death choice: Should the salad, as the bride prefers, be Caesar or baby lettuce with pear vinaigrette, as hyper-controlling mom would have it? Chaos, tension and, yes, sex, are everywhere throughout this blessed house, while the frantic and flustered wedding planner dodges not bullets but barbs. If you were a fan of The Practice, you’ll remember Marla Sokoloff as Lucy, the sharp-witted & sharp-tongued receptionist. Wendy Malick from Jake in Progress and Just Shoot Me returns, as well as Josh Cooke, who played Nate on Committed and Ben on Four Kings. Marla & Josh play the happy couple. I love them both, so I’m extremely excited!

Then stick around for a new episode of Help Me Help You at 9:30/8:30c, starring Ted Danson. Bill takes on a timid boxing client (Kevin Hart); Inger dates an Asian man through J-Date; a video game consumes Michael.

Finally at 10/9c, turn to CBS to see a new episode of 3 Lbs.. Hanson sees a former patient with a recurrence of a life-threatening brain aneurysm, but her brother does not want him to operate on her again. Is ANYONE watching this show? I’ve heard NO buzz about it! :-/

Also on tonight:

WEDNESDAY
Start off Wednesday by watching Jericho on CBS at 8/7c. Gray organizes a manhunt for Jonah, against Mayor Green’s wishes, when one of Jericho’s own turns up dead; an unlikely face returns to Jericho. Gray is a bastard and I wonder if the person who returns to Jericho is Emily’s fiance!

Then stick around for Criminal Minds at 9/8c. Dr. Spencer Reid suspects that a young man who has reached out to him for help may be a serial killer. I love Reid! So this should be good. 😀

Then at 10/9c, watch CSI: NY. The primary suspect in a bartender’s murder is Sheldon Hawkes; Mac and the team’s removal from the case frustrates them; Danny and Stella investigate an apparent overdose that may be connected to an escaped serial killer (Edward Furlong). Mmmm Gary Sinese.

Also on tonight:

THURSDAY
It’s here, it’s here! Must See TV Thursday is here! Start off with My Name is Earl at 8/7c. While delivering sandwiches to a former classmate, Earl decides to help make him a real man by teaching him to gamble. Oh yeah, cause gambling makes you a real man. Haha

Then stick around for The Office. Michael tries to be supportive after learning that a new employee is an ex-convict, then the staff compares the office to a prison.

Then FINALLY, watch the SEASON PREMIERE of Scrubs! J.D. tries to see himself as a father; Dr. Cox realizes that his constant anger may have future repercussions. J.D. as a father… roflmao

Finally, round out the comedies with 30 Rock. Liz confesses she went back to her ex (Dean Winters) because he asked; Jack takes it upon himself to be Liz’s mentor. Anyone watch this show?

Also on tonight:

FRIDAY
Friday starts out at 8/7c with a new episode of Justice on FOX. The firm represents the building’s parking attendant after police arrest him for his wife’s murder, because the only fingerprints on the gun are his. Everyone has GOT to watch this, or it’ll be pulled quicker than you can blink! 🙁

Then at 9/8c, turn to Battlestar Galactica on SciFi. Memories of what happened on New Caprica haunt the crew when they participate in an impromptu boxing tournament. My mom doesn’t have cable, so we’re gonna give her BSG on DVD for Christmas. I know she’s gonna love it! 😀

You can also catch a new 2-hour episode of Las Vegas on NBC from 9/8c-11/10c. Ed and Danny have 12 hours to save Delinda from her kidnappers; Mike and Sam try to figure out whether a Buddhist monk’s major winning-streak is a scam.

Also on tonight:

Some excellent stuff on this week! Season premiere of Scrubs, new eps of Justice & Men in Trees & lots more. What are you looking forward to seeing most?
