Jenny’s This Week on TV

Well, I’ll warn you now that this week is pretty darn empty, except for freakin THURSDAY, which is PACKED! lol Get ready for multiple reruns people! Hope you have some stuff saved up to watch!

SUNDAY

There isn’t much new on Sunday. There are a few things on, including the CBS lineup. But first, check out the new episode of Reba on the CW network at 7:30/6:30c. Kyra moves back in with Reba, who catches her drinking; Brock and Barbra Jean confess that they let Kyra have an occasional beer in their house. Oh man, Reba is gonna go ballistic! Especially after Cheyenne’s alcohol problem last season!

Then check out the afformentioned CBS lineup, starting with The Amazing Race at 8/7c. The teams leave Morocco and immediately hit a detour; an argument breaks out when one racer loses faith in a partner; one team is eliminated. I can not WAIT to see the blondes go home. Hopefully it’ll be this week!

Then is Cold Case at 9/8c. Lilly and the team reopen a 1968 case involving the killing of a cop suspected of being gay. It’s hard even now for a cop to be gay, I’m sure, let alone nearly 40 years ago!

Finally at 10/9c, you can catch a new ep of Without a Trace. A young mother with less than a month to live disappears after leaving a gathering of cancer patients. Maybe she’ll have gone to try a new treatment and it’ll cure her? Very sad. 🙁

If you are a fan of Noah Wyle (formerly of ER), be sure and catch the tv movie, The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mine on TNT. This globe-trotting action-thriller sends Flynn on a journey to uncover the fabled mines of King Solomon and a secret about his own family’s past. He’s joined by Gabrielle Anwar as a woman whose academic skills surpass even his own. Noah Wyle is YUMMY. 🙂

Also on tonight:

MONDAY

On Monday, do NOT miss the new 2-hour special episode of The Closer on TNT at 8/7c! In the first hour, on administrative leave after the shoot-out in her murder room, Brenda is called upon by an old friend to help solve the murder of an Arab teenager with ties to a terrorist cell. Working covertly, can Brenda find the killer before her team is completely dismantled by Commander Taylor? In the second hour, after reuniting with her team, Brenda must make good her promise to find a member of the Army of Allah who the CIA desperately wants to interrogate regarding a shipment of missing plutonium. But when it becomes apparent that the CIA has given her misleading information, has Brenda been set up? With the future of the Priority Homicide Division hanging in the balance, Brenda must figure out who she can trust before she becomes the next victim. This is one of my all-time favorite shows. If you haven’t seen it before, rent Season 1 on DVD and watch tonight’s episode!

Also a CAN’T MISS tonight is the fall finale of Heroes at 9/8c. The tragic events in Texas have serious repercussions for many of the heroes, their families and friends; shocking details about the moments leading up to Isaac’s predicted New York nuclear bombing. Also tonight, something MAJOR happens. I won’t spoil as to who or what, but it’s big people. BIG.

Also on tonight:

TUESDAY

Start your Tuesday off with Gilmore Girls at 8/7c. Luke and Lorelai share a sweet moment; Christopher worries that Lorelai is not fully committed to their marriage; Luke and Christopher have an ugly confrontation. Who are you rooting for? Are you a Lukelai or a Lorelopher (hahah) fan?

Some other new shows on tonight are on ABC. At 9/8c, watch the 2nd episode of Big Day, where Jane, the bride’s mother, has an unexpected reaction when Danny’s free-spirited father (Stephen Tobolowsky) gives her a foot massage.

Then stick around for Help Me Help You with Ted Dansen. Bill urges his group to take action and get involved, but must resist the urge to involve himself when his daughter announces she is dating one of his patients.

Finally at 10/9c, catch the new ep of Boston Legal. Alan takes the case of a mother desperate to retain custody of her daughters, who are white supremacist singing sensations; a woman wants to sue God after her husband is struck by lightning. … How do you sue God? ROFLMAO

If you are into this kind of stuff, don’t miss the special The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at 10/9c on CBS. Gisele Bundchën, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova and Alessandra Ambrosio are among women modeling lingerie at the annual event in Los Angeles; Heidi Klum is scheduled to appear; Justin Timberlake is scheduled to perform.

Check out reader Fred’s new site: http://heardontv.com because he’s doing a special coverage of this event tonight! 🙂

Also on tonight:

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday is a pretty big night for tv. Start off with the season finale of America’s Next Top Model on the CW network. The three remaining models must be on point for the most important photo shoot yet; the final two models walk down the catwalk in couture bridal gowns; one last catfight erupts; the judges choose the winner.

There is also the season premiere of The King of Queens on CBS. When Carrie insists that Doug figure out how to invest their tax return, he buys an ice cream truck from a stranger. There is also a 2nd new episode tonight. Doug frantically tries to stop calls to his home from a woman who says she spent a romantic weekend with him. I quit watching this show last season cause I was tired of the way Carrie treated Doug, but I dunno, with so many shows in reruns right now, I may watch this week.

Also on tonight:

THURSDAY
Must See TV Thursday is back baby! Start off with 2 new episodes of My Name is Earl at 8/7 & 8:30/7:30c. In the 1st ep, after Earl accidentally gets Catalina deported, he and Randy go on a mission to get her back. In the 2nd ep, while Earl befriends hostage-taker Diego (John Leguizamo), Randy encounters a married couple who use him to fill a void in their lives. I love me some John Leggy!

Then stick around for Scrubs. Carla goes into labor, and excited Turk strikes up the band while escorting her to the hospital; J.D. and Kim contemplate their future and their child’s future. What are your thoughts on last week’s premiere? Will this season be as good?

Finally, round out the comedies with 30 Rock. Jack bumps Jenna’s scheduled appearance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” by booking new star Tracy. Congrats to the cast & crew for the pickup!

Throw some love at the new Supernatural on the CW network tonight too! It’s the big reveal! Sam has a vision of Dean killing a young man who seems to be possessed by a demon, leading the brothers to head to Oregon in search of answers; Dean reveals what John whispered to him before dying. I have NO idea what John said so I’m excited to hear!

Also on tonight:

FRIDAY
Friday starts out at 8/7c with a new episode of Justice on FOX. The firm defends Ron’s former lover (Jane Seymour), who is accused of murdering her son. Everyone has GOT to watch this, or it’ll be pulled quicker than you can blink! 🙁

Then turn to NBC for Las Vegas at 9/8c. A blacklisted mobster (Vincent Pastore) purchases the Montecito’s million-dollar wedding package, including Wayne Newton, for his daughter, but problems arise because Wayne is on bad terms with Ed. Did you like last week’s 2 hour episode? As I write this, I’m about 45 minutes from finishing it, so not sure how they rescue Delinda but I like the episode so far!

Finally, catch the new episode of Law & Order at 10/9c. An attorney involved in a high-profile wire tapping case is found dead. Mmm Detective Green. 😀

Also on tonight:

I think my favorite new show this week has got to be Men in Trees. I am so in love with Jack, it’s crazy! Have a great week everybody!
