Jenny’s This Week on TV

SUNDAY

Sunday is all about the 3 hour Survivor on CBS at 8/7c. Jeff has a few more suprises up his sleeves for the remaining players, so if you are a fan of this show, don’t miss it tonight!

Also important tonight is the season finale of 4 shows: Sleeper Cell & Dexter on Showtime and Breaking Bonaduce & Celebrity Paranormal Project on VH1.

On Dexter, Dexter follows clues in his rescue attempt; Rita’s ex tries to convince her that Dexter is too dangerous. I have a friend that’s recorded all the eps so far so I can’t wait to get a DVD to watch when it finishes. I’ve heard this show is great!

Also on tonight:

MONDAY

The only new thing on besides game shows and Supernanny is a new episode of What About Brian at 10/9c on ABC. Brian tries to avoid Bridget, who once had an affair with his father; Brian and Adam must do community service at a homeless shelter; Nicole tries to induce labor; Deena goes on a dream date with her rich client; Dave goes on a date with a younger girl.

If you like gameshows, check out Identity on NBC at 9/8c. Contestants size up a group of strangers in an effort to match their identities and win a top prize of $500,000. The ultimate mind game is hosted by Emmy Award-winning comedian/magician Penn Jillette (Penn & Teller). It just runs for 5 nights, so might be a fun way to pass an hour of your time each evening this week. 🙂

Also on tonight:

TUESDAY

The only new things on Tuesday are the next ep of Identity on NBC, 2 new episodes of Big Day on ABC and the shows on MyNetworkTV.

On the first episode of Big Day, Steve, Skobo, Johnny, Freddy and Danny visit a strip club, and Alice loses her wedding gifts to Becca. On the second episode, Skoko books a “group honeymoon” for Danny and Alice, and the Garf dreams Steve will die before the wedding ceremony. The second ep is airing instead of Help Me Help You, which has been cancelled.

Also on tonight:

WEDNESDAY

Happy 30th Birthday to me! Yay!

Only a few new things on tonight. Check out The King of Queens on CBS at 8/7c. Doug adopts a dog from his neighbor but soon wants to give it back.

Also on tonight:

THURSDAY

With a lot of repeats on tonight, make it a FOX night again this week! Start off at 8/7c with Til Death. Allison comes home to spend the holidays with her parents, but bad news from her boyfriend prompts her to turn to her mother, leaving Eddie feeling snubbed.

Then at 8:30/7:30c, stay for The War At Home! Dave tries to get Larry and Mike to strengthen their relationship as brothers; Hillary tries to get a blind guy interested in her.

At 9/8c, watch The OC. Summer ruins Ryan’s romantic getaway plans; Summer’s future rests in the hands of a raver the gang meets on the way to Las Vegas.

Also on tonight:

FRIDAY
Friday starts out at 8/7c with a new episode of Justice on FOX. As the holiday party rages on, Ron and Alden deal with a baby abandoned at the law office and Luther helps Tom defend a student charged with murder. Everyone has GOT to watch this, or it’ll be pulled quicker than you can blink! This is also the last episode before the hiatus. *sniff*

Then turn to USA at 9/8c for another NEW episode of Monk. A millionaire with leprosy comes out of hiding and hires Monk to recover some papers from his estate. Hah. Monk dealing with a man with leprosy. Phobias should be flying tonight!

If you are a fan of Doctor Who, catch the 2 hour season finale on SciFi. At 8/7c, the human race rejoices as ghosts of loved ones return home; an invasion force threatens modern day Earth. Then at 9/8c, two mighty armies wage war across the Earth; terror emerges from beneath Torchwood Tower; the Doctor faces a dilemma.

Also on tonight:

There won’t be a new column next week as I’ll be out of town for Christmas. Here are highlights of only what is NEW and worth mentioning next week:

On Monday, 2 new episodes of Big Day. And of course, there are new episodes Wicked Wicked Games and Watch Over Me every day, even on Christmas.

That’s all folks! If you celebrate it, have a very Merry Christmas! If you don’t, use the break from new episodes and catch up on what you’ve got saved! 🙂
