DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES: Feels Like May

Is it just me, or did last night’s fantastic episode of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES feel like the season finale? Much to the surprise of this TV addict, writers Marc Cherry and Joe Keenan pretty much tied up an entire season of mysteries in a mere forty-four minutes. Orson’s shady history was cleared up (I knew he was innocent!), Lynette and Tom opened their Pizzeria (How exactly are they going to support seven or eight kids on a start-up restaurant?) and Susan finally got engaged (Any bets as to how many episodes it will take until she sabotages her relationship and ends up back with Mike?). As we learned last season — without mystery, Wisteria Lane is simply no fun. Let’s hope the writers have something good up their sleeves for the final third of the season. They realize do it’s February right?
