Jenny’s This Week on TV

What the FRAK is going on?? Is the CW nutso? I can’t even begin to describe the heartbreak I will feel if Veronica Mars is gone for good. Here’s what the CW has on the bubble: Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, 7th Heaven and One Tree Hill. If they lose even 2 of those 4, what the frak are they planning on putting in their places? More repeats like they have on Sundays? New shows? We know how well that worked this season for them. Hah. They need to smarten up. It sounds like Gilmore Girls may not be back from their own choice, and 7th Heaven really needs to go away. So give the other three another shot and actually PROMOTE THEM! Argh. I can’t even describe how frustrated I am right now! On a completely different note, my son is gone to Alabama with my mom to visit my grandparents this week for spring break, so let’s see what’s on to keep me occupied while he’s away!

SUNDAY

Sunday, if you have been enjoying The Winner on FOX, catch the 2 new episodes tonight at 8:30/7:30c and 9:30/8:30c. On the first episode, when Josh starts hanging out with a new friend at school, Glen decides to find his own new friend who, unbeknown to Glen, is a gay man with a crush on him. Then in the season finale, Glen comes face to face with his old homeroom teacher (played by Katey Sagal of Married … with Children & 8 Simple Rules!), who ends up giving him a lesson in love. Awwww! lol

If SciFi is more your bag, check out The Dresden Files at 9/8c. Harry must delve into the world of dark magic to solve the murders of a local gangster and his girlfriend.

Then stick around for Battlestar Galactica at 10/9c. As the trial of Gaius Baltar begins, testimony rivets the fleet’s attention.

Also on tonight:

MONDAY

Monday is all about the 2-hour season premiere of Dancing with the Stars on ABC at 8/7c. In case you’ve been living under a rock, here are this season’s contestants: Laila Ali, Billy Ray Cyrus, Clyde Drexler, Joey Fatone, Shandi Finnessey, Leeza Gibbons, Heather Mills, Apolo Anton Ohno, Paulina Porizkova, John Ratzengerger and Ian Ziering. w00t! Let’s say it for B-List Celebrities!

Also on tonight:

TUESDAY

Tuesday, watch the series premiere of Tori & Dean: Inn Love on the Oxygen Channel at 10:30/9:30c. Famed actress, pop culture icon and mother-to-be Tori Spelling (Beverly Hills 90210) and her actor husband Dean McDermott are adding innkeepers to their resume this year when they open their own bed & breakfast. Leaving their Hollywood lifestyle behind, the McDermotts head for the picturesque wine vineyards of southern California to invest Spelling’s $800,000 inheritance into opening an inn. Partners in marriage and now in business, the couple will give viewers an intimate look at their new life as they try to balance the challenges and obstacles they face as first-time innkeepers along with the joys and stresses of preparing for their first baby. Wait, so she only got $800,000 from her father’s death? Wow. I assumed it’d be so much more than that! lol

Also on tonight:

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday, catch Friday Night Lights on NBC at 8/7c. Julie makes it clear to her parents that she does not want to move out of Dillon and away from Matt; Jason gets bad news from the quad-rugby recruiters; Riggins befriends a single mother and her son.

If you are a fan of Survivor, don’t miss the new episode on a special night tonight on CBS at 8/7c. Some castaways experience hardships when two new tribes form; one castaway realizes an old alliance no longer has the majority in the new tribe. Major shakeups tonight guys! Should be VERY interesting!

At 10/9c, watch CSI: NY on CBS. Mac and Stella investigate the murder of a young girl’s handler, who was killed during a U.N. fundraiser.

Also on tonight:

THURSDAY

Make Thursday a Showtime night if you can! First, check out the 5th Season Premiere of Penn & Teller: Bullshit at 10/9c. Then catch the series premiere of This American Life at 10:30/9:30c. The series is based on the award-winning show of the same name that was created by Chicago Public Radio and Ira Glass. Each episode will be hosted by Ira Glass and will explore a single theme or topic through the unique juxtaposition of first-person storytelling and whimsical narrative, allowing for the shows distinct and original voice. The visual interpretation of the radio series will reflect the structure and spirit of the radio show that has grown to be one of the most popular and innovative programs in the medium.

If you don’t have Showtime (like me 🙁 ), check out the new episode of Raines at 10/9c. When Raines identifies a partially decomposed body found in the Venice canals, he connects the victim to a Los Angeles councilman (A Martinez); Raines must see a psychiatrist. Starting next week, it moves to Fridays at 9/8c.

Also on tonight:

FRIDAY

Friday, check out the return of Six Degrees on ABC at 9/8c! On Laura’s first date since her husband’s death, she discovers a photo that Caseman took of her weeping on her front stoop; Carlos learns Damian’s secret about the shooting.

Also on tonight:

As always, your comments are more than welcome! Let me know if you like that I’m including more shows every night! Have a great week. 🙂
