Jenny’s This Week on TV

Welcome to a new week for This Week on TV! Big stuff happening this week again, including the series & season finales of some fan favorites. Busy, busy week, so check it out! And to all you mothers out there, Happy Mother’s Day! If you HAVE a mother, give her a call and let her know how much she means to you. 🙂

SUNDAY

Sunday is a big day AGAIN for 7th Heaven as it’s has its series finale on the CW at 8/7c. (For real this time! They even had a FUNERAL for it at a cemetery. LOL) The whole family, well, the ones left on the show anyway, go away on a trip across America via RV. Does Ruthie choose Martin or T-bone? It’s the biggest question EVAR on tv! 😉

Tonight is the season finale of Reno 911 on Comedy Central at 10:30/9:30c. Dangle accepts a wedding proposition from his ex-wife’s husband.

It’s also the 3 hour season finale and reunion show for Survivor on CBS at 8/7c. The five remaining contestants compete for the $1 million prize. Go Yao & Earl! 😀

Also on tonight:

MONDAY

Monday is a great night for comedy finales. First up is CBS starting at 8/7c with How I Met Your Mother (what in the world is the secret Ted & Robin are hiding from Barney, Marshall & Lily??), Two and a Half Men (Robert Wagner guest stars as the rich boyfriend of Charlie & Alan’s mom!) then finally the 1-hour series finale of The King of Queens (It’s the normal crazy relationship ups and downs between Carrie & Doug. Will she be pregnant? Will they get divorced or stay together?).

Also tonight are the finales for the CW starting at 8/7c with Everybody Hates Chris and All of Us followed by the 1-hour season finale of The Game.

Also on tonight:

TUESDAY

Tuesday is all about the series finale of Gilmore Girls on the CW at 8/7c. Lorelai and Luke reach a new understanding; Stars Hollow throws Rory a huge graduation party.

Also on tonight:

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday, there are eleven (yes, 11!) finales! Too many to go over in depth, so let’s focus on the series finales. First up is According to Jim on ABC 8/7c. Sure, they SAY season finale, but everything I’m hearing says it’s done after this week. Jim is turning 50 and he tries to sabotage the surprise party Cheryl is planning for him.

Also on tonight is the season (series?) finale of Crossing Jordan on NBC at 9/8c. The coroners’ plane crashes in the mountains as they are returning from investigating what killed people on a ship in the Norwegian Sea.

Also on tonight:

THURSDAY

Thursday has another 8 huge finales! I’ll choose one random one from each of the 4 networks! lol

Scrubs is on NBC at 9/8c. Last week, J.D. saw Kim for the first time in months and saw that she was still pregnant. Can he forgive her?

Then on the CW is Supernatural at 9/8c. Things come to a head between the hunters and the hunted while Dean deals with the aftermath of Sam’s stabbing.

On ABC, catch Ugly Betty at 8/7c. Betty’s romance with Henry heats up, Wilhelmina’s power play moves forward and old ghosts create new problems for the Suarez family.

Finally on CBS is CSI at 9/8c. While the team tries to track down the miniature-killer, Sara goes missing and Grissom and Sara’s relationship comes out into the open.

Also on tonight:

FRIDAY

Friday is the season finale of Numb3rs on CBS @ 10/9c. Following an explosive standoff on a bridge, Don and Charlie discover a buried secret that will change the FBI team. The previews said someone on the team will betray the rest of the team. Who??? Argh.

Also tonight is the season finale (possible series?) of Law & Order on NBC @ 10/9c. A former senator (Harry Hamlin) becomes a suspect when his ex-wife is found dead at her home the night after attending a fundraiser with the family.

Premiering tonight is National Bingo Night on ABC @ 9/8c. Hosted by Ed Sanders (the Brit from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition who hurt his hand earlier this season), it’s 3 games of fast-paced high stakes Bingo each night with the viewing public invited to play along. I love Bingo, so I will have to check it out. lol

Also on tonight:

Looks like a great, but sad, week for tv, what with all the finales! Have a good week everyone and enjoy the shows while they last!
