Welcome to a new week for This Week on TV! w00t! We found a house! So that’s one less worry for me. Frees me up to watch all the shows building up on my DVRs. Tuesday is season premiere of Eureka on SciFi at 9/8c! I am SOOOO excited. I absolutely ADORED this show last season! If you haven’t seen it before, rent season 1 on DVD and catch up! It’s about this quirky town full of the world’s greatest minds and hilarity ensues when you throw in the new sheriff and his rebellious teenage daughter and talking Smart House that’s an old bunker. hah
It’s also the series premiere of The Singing Bee on NBC at 9:30/8:30c. Hosted by Joey Fatone (from ‘N Sync & Dancing with the Stars), this show challenges contestants to accurately sing the lyrics to popular songs — even when the band stops playing.

THURSDAY
Thursday is the season premieres of 2 shows on A&E. First up is The First 48 at 9/8c. This show is pretty good and worth checking out if you’ve never seen it. It deals with the first 48 hours of a case for homicide detectives, when they are more likely to get a lead in the case. It takes viewers behind the scenes of real-life investigations with access to crime scenes, autopsies, forensic processing and interrogations.
Next up is Dallas S.W.A.T. at 10/9c. It takes you inside the lives of S.W.A.T. team members in Dallas, Detroit and, like tonight’s episode, Kansas City.
