Jenny’s This Week on TV

Welcome to a new week for This Week on TV! Lots of great stuff on this week, including some finales & a few premieres as well as plenty of other new episodes! So let’s see what’s going on, shall we?

SUNDAY

Sunday is the finale of The Company on TNT at 8/7c. James Angleton follows up on clues that point to a high-ranking CIA official as the mole; the head of the KGB puts his endgame plan into action.

Also on tonight:

MONDAY

Monday is the series premiere of one of the UK’s most popular shows, Top Gear on BBC America at 8/7c with a 2nd episode at 9/8c. Featuring super-cars, stunts, time trials, and road tests, each week Top Gear assesses the performance of some of the most desirable cars around. As well as test drives and car trials on location, Top Gear features a live studio audience, star guests, and celebrities driving decidedly non-celebrity cars. Famous names appearing this season include actors Ewan McGregor, Ray Winstone, and Sir Michael Gambon as well as celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.

Also on tonight:

TUESDAY

Tuesday is the 2-hour season finale of America’s Got Talent on NBC at 8/7c. If Butterscotch (wtf kind of name is that, anyway?) wins, I’m going to cry. I love the other 3 so if any of them win, I’m cool.

Also on tonight:

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday is the 1-hour series premiere of Anchorwoman on FOX at 8/7c. PHIL HURLEY is the owner of a tiny Texas news station, KYTX Channel 19, and he is desperate to turn the tide of his mediocre ratings, or even just compete with a rival channel. Phil has shocked the station and town of Tyler, Texas, by bringing in a gorgeous model and ex-WWE diva with no previous news experience to be his next ANCHORWOMAN all in hopes of reinventing the look of Channel 19 and overhauling its below-average 6 share to a number more like his competitor’s dominating 36. The previews have been funny, so we’ll see… heh

Also on tonight:

THURSDAY

Thursday is a new episode of the best damn show on tv, Burn Notice on USA at 10/9c. If you haven’t been watching, it isn’t too late to start. Check it out and see the absolutely amazing cast and terrific storyline!

Also on tonight:

FRIDAY

Friday, catch NFL Preseason Football: New Orleans Saints at Kansas City Chiefs on CBS at 8/7c. That does mean that there is no Jericho repeat tonight, though!

Also on tonight:

Have a great week everyone! One more week down until the new season starts!
