Happy Thanksgiving From the TV Addict

On this cold and chilly Thanksgiving Thursday in Toronto Canada, the TV Addict is going to put aside his holiday jealousy [being Canadian, there’s no parade for us today!] and spend a few minutes talking about what I’m thankful for in the world of Television.

To the readers of theTVaddict.com. Without all of you — my fellow TV Addicts — this fake job would be far less exciting. I wish you all the best this Holiday season and look forward to many more seasons to come.

Special extra holiday thanks to Amrie, Jenny, Joanna, Tim G and C.T. for taking time out of their busy lives to share their TV Addiction with all of us. Your passion and dedication for the small screen make me, and thousands of readers smile every week .

Thanks to the writers, creative team, actors and crew of every single one of the TV Addict’s favorite shows. Without your incredible work, theTVaddict.com would be a blank page.

Thanks to the cast of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS for finally giving us something worth watching on Friday nights.

Thanks to ABC for picking up DIRTY SEXY MONEY for an entire season. No one delivers lines like Natalie Zea’s Karen Darling. Last night’s quote of the night, “It’s so her to come along, isn’t it?”

Thanks to the cast of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER for giving this TV Addict a reason to look forward to Mondays.

Thanks to Cait at Fox, Winson at the WB and Courtney from NMS for giving this TV Addict three incredibly unique opportunities this year. The Fox Fall 2007 Launch Party will never be forgotten.

Thanks to all the new friends I’ve made in the world of television blogging. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one online with a slightly unhealthy addiction to television.

Thanks to Ari and Renessa for listening to my podcast rambling. And to all of you for listening.

Thanks to my favorite fictional BROTHERS & SISTERS. I laugh just thinking about how many bottles of wine will be consumed in the Walker household this weekend.

Thanks to Tina Fey for being the coolest woman on TV and making smart sexy again.

Thanks to FX for recognizing the brilliance of DAMAGES. Renewing it for not only one, but two seasons.

Thanks to Showtime for stepping out of HBO’s shadow. DEXTER, WEEDS, CALIFORNICATION… what’s next?
