Jenny’s This Week on TV

Welcome to a new week for This Week on TV! Well, the strike is still going strong unfortunately, but thank goodness, we are beginning to see some new episodes of some shows! Did anyone else really enjoy the 2 new faces on Law & Order last week like I did? 😀 Let’s see what we’re in store for this week, shall we?

Sunday

Sunday is full of premieres, including the season premieres of King of the Hill on FOX at 8:30/7:30c, The Wire on HBO & The L Word on Showtime, both at 9/8c.

There is also the series premiere of 2 new shows. First up is the 2-hour premiere of a remake of a 90s show, American Gladiators on NBC starting at 9/8c. Also premiering tonight is Cashmere Mafia on ABC at 10:01/9:01c.

Also on tonight:

Monday

Monday is the 2-hour series premiere of Dance Wars on ABC at 8/7c. Dancing with the Stars judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba will put their reputations on the line as they battle it out on the dance floor to create the ultimate performance group in this new reality show hosted by season 2 champion, Drew Lachey.

It’s also the season premiere of Medium on NBC at 10/9c. Allison strikes an unusual deal with an investigator (Anjelica Huston) searching for a missing boy.

Also on tonight:

Tuesday

Tuesday is a night full of premieres. Just to name a few: One Tree Hill on the CW at 8/7c (with a 2nd episode in its regular time slot at 9/8c), Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel at 9/8c and series premiere of Parking Wars on A&E at 10/9c (with a 2nd new episode right after at 10:30/9:30c). They tuck tickets under our windshields and clamp yellow boots to our car wheels. They are called every name in the book. Some try to run from them. Others try to run them over. They are the people we love to hate, but never before have they been so fascinating. This new reality show is a behind the scenes ride with the men and women of the Philadelphia Parking Authority as they manage the chaos that is every driver’s greatest nightmare…. parking!
