Friday marks the series premiere of Gone Country on CMT at 8/7c. John Rich, of the hit country duo Big & Rich, takes seven established performers from every realm of the entertainment and music industries and immerses them in all things country for a chance to break out as the next big country superstar. The one who is most successful at crossing over by the end of the series will have a country single produced by Rich. Participants will be Carnie Wilson, Dee Snider, Diana DeGarmo, Julio Iglesias Jr., Maureen McCormick, Sisqo and lastly, the unlikely country hopeful, Bobby Brown.
Tonight is also the season finale of Miss America: Reality Check on TLC at 10/9c. This has been a fun show to watch late at night when I don’t need my brain turned on. *laugh*
