It is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book & historical biography about the life of John Adams. It stars Paul Giamatti (The Nanny Diaries) as the title character, Laura Linney (The Nanny Diaries) as Abigail Adams, Stephen Dillane as Thomas Jefferson, Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as Sam Adams, David Morse (Hack & House) as George Washington, Tom Wilkinson (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) as Benjamin Franklin, Rufus Sewell (The Holiday) as Alexander Hamilton & Sarah Polley (Dawn of the Dead) as Nabby Adams/Abigail Adams Smith and is produced by Tom Hanks among others.
