Dear TV Guide,
In the ‘scoop—first’ era that we now find ourselves in, this TV Addict completely appreciates the fact that you’re going to make your interview with the central figure of last night’s shocking BONES revelation a headline on tvguide.com.
That said, was it absolutely necessary to ruin it for everyone by including the actor [or actresses] name and photo in the aforementioned headline? Does it not occur to you that between episodes of GOSSIP GIRL, THE BIG BANG THEORY, SMALLVILLE [saved from Thursday!] and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER certain TV Addict’s like myself might have been too TV’d out to get to last night’s episodes of HOUSE and BONES?
Okay, so I’m bitter. But I don’t think it’s too much to ask to be a little spoiler sensitive. Especially when a more abstract headline like “Inside BONES’ SHOCKER: We talk to Gormogon Apprentice’s” still would have ensured readers knew you had the scoop, while at the same time keeping the surprise, well, a surprise.
Just a thought. Seriously, not bitter at all.
