90210 Won’t Save the CW and Other Ratings Predictions for the Fall

Because it’s never too early to start a “Save Our Show” campaign, Horizon Media has released their annual speculative report on what shows premiering this fall will be the next PUSHING DAISIES and which will follow in MOONLIGHT’s unfortunate footsteps.

The good news, as expected, highest marks were awarded to the highly anticipated J.J. Abrams Sci-Fi thriller FRINGE, the Jerry Bruckheimer produced CBS procedural 11th HOUR and ABC’s troubled British remake LIFE ON MARS.

Bad news. Low marks were given to NBC’s hour long car commercial also known as KNIGHT RIDER, NBC’s Aussie remake of KATH & KIM and the CBS ‘laugher’ WORST WEEK.

With the worst news being reserved for the network that definitely needs to catch a break. Turns out, while there’s an awful lot of buzz surrounding the CW’s re-boot of 90210, Horizon Media speculates that the talk won’t translate into eyeballs and that America’s favorite zip code doesn’t have what it takes to carry the CW out of the ratings cellar.
