Friday marks the series premiere of Discovery Project Earth on the Discovery Channel at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. Tonight’s Olympic coverage includes: Semifinals of the men’s 10m platform diving event (LIVE ET/CT). Once again China is expected to field two strong contenders while American teens David Boudia and Thomas Finchum are the top U.S. divers. From track and field, the world’s fastest men and women race for medals in the 4x100m relay finals. Also, the decathlon concludes, and gold-medals finals in the women’s 5000m, women’s long jump, and men’s pole vault.
