While this TV Addict isn’t about to spoil the fun that is tonight’s installment of GOSSIP GIRL. I will offer the following teases three.
1) While fans of CRUEL INTENTIONS will undoubtedly revel in Blair’s pitch perfect homage to Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Kathryn Merteuil. They won’t be surprised with where this evening’s revenge scheme on Vanessa is headed. Which is a shame for Blair, who clearly should have spent a little more time studying CRUEL INTENTIONS and less time watching BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S!
2) And speaking of modern classics we love [seriously, CRUEL INTENTIONS, a must watch.] Its definitely within the realm of possibility that GOSSIP GIRL showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage found inspiration in early episodes of THAT 70’s SHOW for another major plot point that takes place during the final moments of tonight’s episode.
3) And in the off chance points one and two weren’t enough to convince you to tune in to GOSSIP GIRL tonight at 8PM on the [still new?] CW, Serena takes a cue from Lindsay Lohan. Read into that what you will.
